That's what I did; the Westville was the first house I installed siding, and I wound up having to perform surgery on the porch roof. Since then I trace around the window and door trims onto the wall and butt the siding up to the trace line, and after the exterior is sided, primed & painted, THEN I install the exterior window & door trims.
