Shareb
Hi all - been away from my minis and dollhouses and in fact anything remotely creative, for some months. I was taking a troop of Scouts to the 21st NZ Scout Jamboree over the New Year period. It was ten days with over 4000 scouts! Whew! But now that's all done and our home renovations are mostly complete, I can take a step back and get back into creating! We homeschool but as my children are 16 1/2 and 14 1/2 there isn't a lot I need to do. They do most of their work themselves just with the occasional help from me. Given that, here we are at the end of our summer hols (although summer is just really starting) and we're starting term 1 of our new school year, I have decided to find a creative type course that I can do while the kids do their work. Does anyone here know of any online courses that I could participate in?

sparklepuppies
Cynthia Howe Miniatures does online classes to build a kit. Not sure if that's what you had in mind or not. It looks like the current one will ship/start March 1. She has some really cute kits. http://cynthiahoweminiatures.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=21&products_id=2440

CheckMouse
This isn't a class, but it is a very good tutorial for the 1:48 scale. I'm sure many of the principles could be applied to any scale. How It Is Done

I have been wanting to order a subscription to American Miniaturist and the paper version was more than I could commit to after just getting started with my house. The site has monthly success for $4.99. I would really rather hold the actual magazine in my hands but this will work for now. Thanks again.
