SewMini
I have ADHD so my thoughts are pretty much built like wagon wheels: One central thought with 50 sub thoughts all happening at the same time :D
Guest
Made a new lamp. I really like this light making business... though I have sacrificed a couple of pre-wired bulbs in the process.. This one is inspired by Modern Gustavian interiors... It will be painted the same as the turning beside it to simulate that wonderful aged and limed wood you see in this style. It's also going to get a matching partner..
AniaDeely
Hi... I have a string of battery powered LED lights left over from making a light up dress for my daughter. Would it be safe to cut those up to use the lights and directly wire them into the house? If so, I could use those rather than having to buy a bunch of GOR lights. Keifer
The battery lights are usually powered by a 3 volt battery, I’m not sure how the lights will react to a 12 volt power supply. Could be risky.
shannonc60
As Keith said, they need to be the same voltage as your power source. I made a tutorial on using the battery operated LEDs for dollhouse lights on my website: https://www.redcottageminiatures.com/blog-1/2018/12/17/lighting-your-mini-house-using-led-string-lights It might help you. It uses the battery pack that usually comes with these lights or a purchased one. They are available online for not much.
Keifer
I did some more research and the quick answer is NO.
Neironwik
I also like dollhouses, and when you deal with them all the time, you become obsessed with the good sense of the word, and you want to already do something more, for example, to shoot the light. I understand the situation very well. I was still in the continuous search for some lights, and in the end, I ordered from Amazon night light. I wanted it to shine brightly, like in a real house. They go as a 6-piece set at just 12 dollars. I disassembled and put together what I need, so I have the light in the dollhouse. Cool. I was satisfied. What's left I use through the house for my dog.
