Linda Willowcrest
The third floor chimney and stair rail seem like wasted playspace. Is the house still sturdy if both are removed and just a floor is put down ? The house is in Florida so I don't have it here but I will visit to rehab it soon. Has anyone done this successfully ? Sable
Have you seen the Willowcrest Robin Carey made for the president of Greenleaf? http://robincarey.blogspot.com/2008/03/willowcrest.html?m=1
rbytsdy
Looking through my Willowcrest build pics-- haven't done this, but looks like it wouldn't affect sturdiness. You'll have to patch holes in the 3rd floor and in the roof, though.
