Shakyshaky
So this is the house I just bought. I am going to paint it red with white trim and it's going to become an elf workshop/ bakery. Does anyone know what house it is?
Sable
The shutters look very Walmer to me but I dont know what model. Could be wrong.
Guest
I don't know what house it is.. but I do know it's super cute! Great buy!
WyckedWood
Can't wait to see your project come to life, I've had a Christmas themed bakery stuck in my head for years but never settled on a house for it. This will be so fun to watch, and a great house for your idea!
minikelli
I agree it looks like an older Walmer model, and if you added a third bottom level to it, I'd say you have yourself a Strawberry Patch dollhouse. You can still see pics of these on the RGT's site as well, though I believe from their most recent e-mail they will be discontinuing the Lilliput line of houses if you need replacement parts at all. Sable
There is one way to determine if it is a Walmer. Can you please post a photo of the interior? Specifically the wall and floor connections on the top floor.
shamrockgirl18
it's very cute- have fun with it!
Shakyshaky
I will try and get a pic of the connection also.
Sable
Not a Walmer. Maybe custom made.
rodentraiser
It's not a Hofco house and I don't think it's a Celerity house either. I've been through all my catalogs and I don't see it. So it might be custom made as Sable says.
Shakyshaky
Thanks for checking. I was able to get it for $50 with a good amount of furniture too. I don't have the elf bakery anymore, so this house is going to have a nice kitchen where Mrs. Clause does all the cooking and toy making room and wrapping/ shipping room and possibly a elf bedroom. Not sure about the attic yet. It might just hold supplies.

Shakyshaky
I found one just like it on eBay! It's item number 162519586652. Mine is missing the front porch rail and the front trim has been replaced. The porch sides are like the one on eBay.
rodentraiser
OK, now that's just too weird. That house has to be made by some company.
Shakyshaky
The outside is painted. I do have some touch ups to do (like the doors), but I like it so far.

Elsbeth
WOW! The bold color really suits it. It brought even more charm. Super cute Christmas house!
Qubanqtee
That color is perfect! Can't wait to see the charm you bring to it!
stickyfingers
That looks great! It always amazes me how the right paint color can totally change a house!
Shakyshaky
I agree about the paint. I love the color. I was able to prime the inside walls today. I am hoping to get the kitchen walls papered today also. I am not sure about the walls in the other rooms yet. I thought I might have to wait a while for the Christmas scrapbook papers to come out, but I saw that Hobby Lobby was already stocking Christmas things last week so maybe I won't have to wait after all. Shakyshaky
I am hoping to get the house finished tomorrow and that will only leave the accessories and such. I am going to start my gallery again too and put the pics in there. I do have a question. I am thinking of not doing baseboards. Would it be wierd to have crown molding and no baseboards? Qubanqtee
I think a lot would have to do with how thick the crown molding is....if it's too weighted at the top you may need to use baseboards BUT much will have to do with furniture placement etc. Can't wait to see it! stickyfingers
Eh, I think just about every room needs some kind of baseboard. Can't wait to see your album!
Shakyshaky
I was able to post some pictures in the gallery. It's not done yet, but I think for the most part it's only accessories left. ( And furniture for the woodworking room. Still not happy with that)
