rocks911
Do you think its possible to make extra money by selling your miniature creations? If so, what venues would you use?
Elsbeth
Ebay and Etsy are most common. The "can you make extra money" question is another topic entirely. I am a buyer not a seller and I am rather frugal unless something is "glorious and impossible" to make myself...and even then I balk at fair prices unless it really is some holy grail. And I am not as frugal as others I know. I know I am paying for someone's work and time...I just am frugal about it.
Sable
Etsy is the only venue I can think of. You need something unique like the listing below. You are not going to make a living on miniature filmo food. https://www.etsy.com/shop/BoutiqueMiniatures?ref=s2-header-shopname
Elsbeth
Here's an example - I showed a very pretty room box to a friend. It was very nicely done. The price was $100. For what it was, that was a very reasonable price, if not low. It showed a lot of time put into aging and decorating and had tiny plants in it. But my friend said "For that price, I'd want the whole house, not just one room!". She liked it, but she didn't understand how much time went into it.
