making extra money

Ebay and Etsy are most common.

The "can you make extra money" question is another topic entirely. I am a buyer not a seller and I am rather frugal unless something is "glorious and impossible" to make myself...and even then I balk at fair prices unless it really is some holy grail. And I am not as frugal as others I know. I know I am paying for someone's work and time...I just am frugal about it.

Here's an example - I showed a very pretty room box to a friend. It was very nicely done. The price was $100. For what it was, that was a very reasonable price, if not low. It showed a lot of time put into aging and decorating and had tiny plants in it.

But my friend said "For that price, I'd want the whole house, not just one room!". She liked it, but she didn't understand how much time went into it.
