Sea Glass

Hello, Wonderful Miniaturists with So Much Imagination!

I have a small collection of sea glass and was thinking I'd like to work some of it into my doll house (Glencroft). Some of the pieces are larger but most are very small. I was thinking, maybe a table top or stained glass type insert for the bathroom.

Any suggestions?

If it's really tiny you could make a mosaic floor... or an insert in your bathroom tiling.. or even just accent pieces in your wall tiling... or ooh.. the shower stall floor (if you are having one :) )

Also tiny pieces laid on a cardstock backing to make a picture or Mirror frame. A tiny little wind chime... with very finely weighted fishing line.

If you have some super tiny pieces you could even put them in a glass ginger/candy jar as a coastal decor item.. or in a glass bowl on a coffee table.

Hard to discern size without a reference, but they may be a bit thick to make into a reasonably realistic stained glass window unless it it made to resemble the dalle de verre or slab glass technique.

Some pieces, like that triangular/cone shaped piece in the upper center of the photo, would make a nice piece of sculptural artwork for display on a table or shelf. Perhaps even a hole in the surface with a light below so the piece would glow. Ooooh, I see a whole shelf unit with 3 or 4 pieces, all lighted from below.

Thank you all so much for the ideas. I'm sorry to not have included something to show scale, like a coin, I'll know better next time!
I think I will try the shelf unit with uplighting, as it fits into the narrative of the cottage's owner, and there are several bigger pieces that would work well.
And, there are many teensy pieces so I can use the jar idea too! And a wind chime!
