Valerie, may I ask what made you trash it? was it not good?

You're welcome Emily. I think the seller of the Citadel is the same that was selling the Elizabeth Anne dollhouses in 1:12 and 1:24 scales. Nice but pricey for the standards around here. I don't think she was able to sale the two EA's.

Another cute house from the seller who is downsizing her collection of 30 years:

This one has a lot of cute details inside and is rather charmingly different, imo:

This looks like a Robin Carey house. The interiors and the laser railings really look like her style to me.

I looked at her the other listings for this seller. The prices are all over the map. Some artisan-crafted items seem to be overvalued, but then some silver by Peter Aquistor & others seems to be in the right ballpark. The flowers are beautiful, but maybe someone should ask how the price can be justified.

something is off...here is a handpainted ceramic bear from the same seller for $69,000:

Ahem.

That might be a typo .. but still, if it should have been $69.95, that's still off. The seller says he painted it himself.

Yes, it was that when I checked. That's why I think it was a typo. Easy enough to hit an extra 9 when typing $69.95

There are a lot of really interesting Japanese houses set up like that. Most of them have a roof that lifts off for access. I've thought about trying a house like that because you can arrange the rooms like they are in a real house. I would definitely have a lift off roof though, and light it so you could see in the windows when it's closed.

This Arrow has called my attention for months now, and for the first time I found a finished and furnished one to be able to see how will the house look once finished http://dayton.craigslist.org/clt/5775610938.html

WOw...I think it is amazing. I agree that it would take some getting used to "looking" down onto the rooms. Or peeking through windows. But I'll bet it would be amazing to take some photos with  a small camera from within (mouse eye's view). WOW.

What kit(s) do you think this started out as? http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/art/5798804801.html

It looks like someone used pieces of one of the wood San Franciscans and pieces of at least one cottage kit and cobbled it together.  I wish there were a better picture of its interior.
