It is definitely a Walmer. And it's close to where my Dad lives and I'm going there next week. Sable says "YES" but Denise (my real name) says "NO!"

Concord Washer Dryer set. New in packaging... Cute set.

YIKES! I could be wrong, but I think that is the metal set everyone is looking for. They're scarce as hen's teeth and usually run $30 to $50 for each piece when you do find them. I have a set, so I don't need them but somebody else here needs to jump on that auction FAST!

YUP.. that's why I posted it.. this vendor had three.. I missed out on the first auction, it went for $60USD.. the second one I got for $10USD Score!!.. This is the third one.. someone needs to grab it. The only other ones I found on line were $30 a piece at miniature cottage.. but someone has now bought them.

I don't think those are the same ones. Pretty sure the metal ones were Handley House or Town Square Miniatures. I think the Concord washer and dryer came out sometime after the metal ones and are resin without opening doors. The stickers on the metal set are gray, not that bright blue.

Still a nice looking set, but caveat emptor!

They looked plastic to me.  This seller has 3 sets available and states they are resin.

I wrote to the seller before bidding because I knew about the Town Square ones and was interested in the fact that they look exactly the same except for the darker stickers (have a set of those and they are fab :) ). S/he told me that they were metal but I haven't received them in the mail yet so, still to be determined. :hmm:For ten bucks I'm ok with however they come, but if I'd paid the 60 bucks the first auction winner did, I'd be pretty mad about it.

And that's what I get for not reading the auction. You're right. I just looked at mine and they don't have the blue on them. Sorry - I didn't mean to get everyone so excited. Next time I'll stick to what I know: dollhouses.

Pricey for sure. We bought our first washer from Goodwill for $50....

I think I might try these printies on card stock? http://www.printmini.com/printables/furn/wd1.html

I did some kitchen cabinets and appliance printies for a room box. I did them on glossy photo paper. They came out slick as a whistle.

I think a print out of control panels onto your own foamcore or mat board structure would be awesome. And with some good shiny paint.

I understand the fun feeling have little metal washer with working doors and all those details...it is fun.

Oh! I also really love this hallmark ornament for a more vintage look - the door doesn't open, but it SPINS! I have one in a house.

The sock is part of the pull cord --the dryer interior lights up and spins. For $10 it is awesome.
