blueirishmoon
Wonder who won the Granville on ebay tonight? I was going to bid on it, but my computer started doing something funky this morning, and I wasn't able to fix it until after the auction ended. Went for $443 plus S&H, wowza! I wouldn't have been able to afford it right now though. Sigh. And it looked like it was in such great condition...
Qubanqtee
well, of the other 3 of us that have declared wanting it, neither of us got it so I think it might've been someone outside of the Greenleaf world.

Don't underestimate the amount of people who are here watching, learning and lurking but never make themselves known, maybe saw the post here. Anyway...this would be a cute bed kit for someone looking to try out wicker furniture. I tried the process once and it was pretty challenging but with a kit and parts already cut it might be easier. This looks pretty inclusive. I would offer 10 and see what happens http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=162622070262&globalID=EBAY-US
madtex1967
Here is the working window set for the Pierce! I think this is a good price for something really hard to find. http://www.ebay.com/itm/working-wood-windows-for-the-pierce-victorian-dollhouse-greenleaf-/122679142726 I'm not sure if the seller really knows this house is NOT a 1940s or she purchased it being told it was. This is from a plan from Craft Products Miniatures sold in the 70s and early 80s. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1940s-Fully-Furnished-and-Electrified-Vintage-Wood-Victorian-Dollhouse-/272827796294?hash=item3f85cdcb46:g:q00AAOSwcB5ZGxWH She has several other houses listed as well. I think this one is the RTG The Quillen http://www.ebay.com/itm/Fully-Furnished-and-Refurbished-Vintage-1-12-Scale-Wood-Dollhouse-/272827795948?hash=item3f85cdc9ec:g:MrgAAOSw0HVWBqJt

I like moulding too (in a finished house)! It is amazing how window trims, baseboards and crown moulding can justify a higher price - even when everything else is perfect - I just like to have those things done already! lol It is a pretty house - my only other issue is there is no door from kitchen to diningroom - I like doorways. All the exciting creativity, planning, love, and hard work that the artist spent in his/her lifetime, not to mention the dollars, is now reduced to a disbursement to the highest bidder and what doesn't "sell" relegated to some family members attic or garage (or landfill). It's the same for any cherished hobby or interest that we might have as well as the sum of our lifetime's work. Once the man and his shovel finishes the job over our worn out bodies, that snippet of time is gone forever. That light has been blown out. I'm not trying to be morbid, btw, just realistic. As I age and have increasing health issues, these facts become more apparent than ever. ... sigh ... I hope this artist's lovely collection sells well and sells to those who will keep their creativity alive a while longer.
