fov
I agree about the Beacon Hill's dark photos, but it does look like work went into that stonework. Could be a cool haunted house, but it's priced too high. As hobbiests I think we need to accept that we're rarely going to be able to sell our dollhouses for what we put into them. If I added it all up I'm sure I've spent more than $1000 on my Victorianna, but I wouldn't try to sell it for $1000, especially not partially finished. Ack, now that I've said that I'm afraid to add up what I've actually spent on the Victorianna.

Because the dollhouse market is not hot...a $300 dollhouse has grander competition than that Granville. $200 is nice of you. Good advice, thanks!! I passed up my chance for a craigslist gorgeous Beacon Hill, all done, furnished - all to my liking - for $150. And then years later, one finally shows up but someone has put a a lot of work into making it look like a wreck and they want thousands!! lol! Classic!! And an unfinished wreck! Well, now the Craig's List posting has expired, but here is the house I was talking about: It looks like the Pembrook from Victorian Times Miniatures with an addition on the left side (facing the house), a porch added around the bay window and an added dormer. I would have to see the other one to compare it, which of course, I can't do now. Darn it.
rodentraiser
Here's a contest house or one that was a contest house, for a pretty good price. https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/for/d/1-12-scale-cabin-dollhouse/6301961436.html And someone is selling this at an estate sale. I didn't think anyone would go and get it, so I'm just including the pic, but if you're interested, I'll look for the link again. It's kind of cool.
