I agree about the Beacon Hill's dark photos, but it does look like work went into that stonework. Could be a cool haunted house, but it's priced too high.

As hobbiests I think we need to accept that we're rarely going to be able to sell our dollhouses for what we put into them. If I added it all up I'm sure I've spent more than $1000 on my Victorianna, but I wouldn't try to sell it for $1000, especially not partially finished.

Ack, now that I've said that I'm afraid to add up what I've actually spent on the Victorianna.

Stick with 200 -tell her you are sure it will sell to some lucky person, but "if it doesn't..." to give you a call.

Because the dollhouse market is not hot...a $300 dollhouse has grander competition than that Granville. $200 is nice of you.

Good advice, thanks!!:D

It's funny to me because I am always looking for a Beacon Hill. I passed up my chance for a craigslist gorgeous Beacon Hill, all done, furnished - all to my liking - for $150. And then years later, one finally shows up but someone has put a a lot of work into making it look like a wreck and they want thousands!! lol! Classic!! And an unfinished wreck!

This is kinda cool.. if you are near New York... Heartford Tall and skinny.. good space saver.. I wish they showed a picture of the interior.

And here is another Walmer Strawberry Patch.. Isn't it strange how houses don't show up forever and then you get 2 or 3 in quick succession.

Remember that big gray house under glass that everyone loved awhile back? I'm pretty sure this is the house:

H i Kelly,

Do you know made/ designed this house? Is it from plans?

I really would love to see the inside of the house that is under glass.

Well, now the Craig's List posting has expired, but here is the house I was talking about:

It looks like the Pembrook from Victorian Times Miniatures with an addition on the left side (facing the house), a porch added around the bay window and an added dormer. I would have to see the other one to compare it, which of course, I can't do now. Darn it.

Here's a contest house or one that was a contest house, for a pretty good price.

And someone is selling this at an estate sale. I didn't think anyone would go and get it, so I'm just including the pic, but if you're interested, I'll look for the link again. It's kind of cool.

Here's a Tiffany from Walmer in Spokane - a little pricy:

And this one is homemade, but I sort of like it:

A Duracraft Victorian:

A put together Glencroft for a good price:

"I bought last year, intending to complete it for the granddaughters' Christmas." - I'm kinda sad they didn't try again for this Christmas! lol! - but maybe the granddaughters got something else.

Ok - is the lamp part of the house?! I can't tell! lol! The shade coordinates with the roof!

I think the lamp is part of the house. I had to look at it a long time, though, to figure that out.
