An added onto Joseph Angel in California.  I have often thought about extending my Joseph Angel (the one thing I do not like about Victorian Times houses are the lack of rooms and room sizes) so this gives me some thought.

It is listed in the Los Angeles Craigslist but is located in Atlanta ... some days I wish I were rich and had unlimited space. *sigh*

$8K is out of my budget, even if I had the room.

I was confused also as I have lived in California my whole life and have never heard of Atlanta, California but after some research found it.  It looks to be one of those don't blink as you pass thru or you will miss it places.    I emailed the seller with some questions but have not heard back.

There may be an Atlanta in California, but the map included in this listing is definitely Atlanta, Georgia. And the 770 area code given for the phone number is also in Atlanta, GA. Perhaps the seller listed it in several areas where they thought there might be likely customers with the cash to purchase.

Cool looking Victorian house in NJ.. Not sure what house it is or if it's custom built but the windows look like some kind of funky upgrade of classics windows with a pediment on top.

Wackiest thing here in the Portland area - there look to be two different Clell Boyce houses for sale by two different people, both painted white with a black roof:

And I wondered if anyone ever bought this house:

Yup! :D

And it was me that got for the $150 starting bid.  15 people watching it and no one else bid.  Like I really need this one.  Going to have to sneak it into the house!

Haha.. Congratulations.. and it's funny how sneaking clothes into the house to hide them from my hubby ("what this old thing? Had it for years) has morphed into meeting the postman at the gate so he doesn't see the mini purchases.. :giggle:

Hey it's for their own good. What they don't know will keep them from worrying that we've gone off the deep end. Telling them is only a means to assuage our guilt anyway. Like my uncle Doug used to say "Keep 'Em Dumb and Happy"!

Lots of stuff with this house - but the house looks like it wasn't really every used:

It's a little odd that layout.

Neat house, but pricey.

Yeah - after what I have seen dollhouses sell for at the miniatures shows in Portland, that would go for $200 tops. Among miniaturists. Market is tough.

It's "architect designed" and could have been some architect major's senior project.  I trotted off to the University in my sophomore year and my roommate was a sophomore architecture major the first year (I think she moved in with her then-boyfriend after that) and some of her projects were sort of strange.  In the interests of harmony I remember staying up one night to help her cut soda straws with a single-edge razor blade so she could build a scale model of the cathedral of Chartres.  For $2K I'd think they could do better than Houseworks components and ready-made furniture.

Also, I can't stop noticing the resemblance with the Noel and Pat Thomas dollhouses, so original, original I don't think it is...
