This is probably the nicest Shadows on Teche dollhouse I've seen. And I love what they have done with the wall treatments in the dining room. Looks like they have used wide ribbon inbetween panelling and it's super effective. Beautiful!

It is nice but I have to say that to be asking for so much money, at least the pictures should have much better quality. After seen the first 4 pictures, my first impulse was to hit the back button and get out of there.

Agree the pictures aren't great and as much as I like it, there is no way I would ever pay that amount. I don't think I would pay that for any dollhouse unless of course, money was no object. :D

I guess it is all relative really, depending on where each one of us is on the financial ladder. To someone this would be nothing . to me far too much but I also would think buying any large house kit would be considered too much for many folks, and to others any house would be considered out of their means, we live in a very funny world when you start to think about it.

It looks homemade, but it's hard to tell. Maybe it's from plans? If I ever find it, I'll let you guys know.

And this showed up here on Craig's List recently:

Anyone want a cheap New Orleans?

I like the look of this house but oof, that starting price. (When I first looked at it a few days ago it also said "reserve not met," maybe they realized they were being over-optimistic and removed it!) https://www.ebay.com/itm/Homemade-victorian-doll-house/173062428136?hash=item284b5315e8:g:sGEAAOSwkLhaRHe-

I like it too, but it hits my #1 pet peeve....Take good, well lit pictures if you want to sell something for a high price.(pay the neighbor with a professional camera $20) Even so, it is expensive for no interior??

Either they built it inside out or printed the photos backwards.

Yes, it sure is near me. It is interesting that it looks so different built as a mirror image of the intended format. <Pondering where it might reside. :hmm:>
