Elsbeth
Just now, rodentraiser said: Well, this ad was put on two months ago, so it may be she either already sold the house or just threw it out. I need to start looking at some more recent ads. I saw on in the Arizona area for a Walmer Alexandria Townhouse and that was from 7 months ago. That's not a very common dollhouse. I corresponded with someone who had an ad on Offerup that was several months old. I thought maybe they just hadn't taken it down, but they said the house was still available (I didn't pursue it). Hope you hear back Susie!

She wants $50 with parts lol....kind of odd to charge extra for parts but I think they are all lumped together in the box...so we will see when they answer what the deal is
fov
The one Elsbeth posted is similar, but not the American Craft Queen Anne Rowhouse. I have a half scale rowhouse knock-off that I bought as a shell from someone who based it on the American Craft kit (it's the house in my avatar). I never quite finished it - still have shingles to do, and the wallpaper in one of the rooms got all messed up and needs to be fixed - so I don't have a gallery yet. But here's a picture, and you can find more in my blog posts here: http://www.emilymorganti.com/blog/?tag=queen-anne-rowhouse (they're chronological with the newest first, so click back to page 3 if you want to start from the beginning) Keep in mind I got it as a shell, so all of the windows etc. are things I added and didn't come with the kit. The original kit had a separate finishing kit that came with trim, Carlson's windows and door, and two 90-degree staircases. If those are the pieces the seller has, they're worth more than $10! The Carlson's components are out of production and don't come up on eBay very often. In the pictures on OfferUp the front staircase is missing, so maybe that's one of the components? If not you can easily make one. All the posts and trim are things I added, the basic staircase is just five steps that you could make by stacking wood rectangles, and the two wall pieces with cut on the diagonal to make a railing. It's also missing the hinged roof and wall panels (those would be easy to make, or you can leave them off) and the bay window that fits into that rectangular opening in the third photo. You could add another type of bay window or make your own. The one that came with the house is just a rectangular box with a mansard type roof. Here's a view of the bay window. I hope you get it! $40 is an incredible deal. I paid almost $200 for my shell and later paid about the same amount for a kit version that came with the components (both half scale).

Guest
Well done Susie! Post pics when you get them. Look at this teeny tiny version of a Pepperwood Farm by Millie August. And it's a pull apart as well so you can furnish it. It even has a staircase. https://www.ebay.com/itm/DOLLHOUSE-MINIATURE-ARTISAN-SIGNED-MILLIE-AUGUST-81-SMALL-SCALE-HOUSE/222801826691?hash=item33e0061383:g:QsMAAOSw8-FaYR1J

I have one of those Millie August Pepperwoods and as a Pepperwood Farm fan, I love it. It slides apart..has everything - but it is HO scale and hard to finish. But I love it. It inspired me to build a 1:48 Pepperwood from the Jacquie Kerr Dieber plans book. And I am loving it at 1:48.

Elsbeth
Ok I saw this little stove on ebay - because I am looking for smaller pieces for the tiny Beacon Hill kitchen. My question is - where does the pipe go? It doesn't curve back into a wall, so does it go straight up into a fireplace/stove hood? https://www.ebay.com/itm/Dollhouse-Miniature-Small-Vintage-Cook-Stove/192431410910

I know! lol! - I was thinking I could put it in the kitchen, but that pipe should go somewhere...I can't pollute the house. I have my eye on the resin Lincoln stove too - but it is a little older than Second Empire and there is no pipe for exhaust! I don't know why this bothers me.
minilover62
This is a beautiful bash of two Tennysons, but $1,500 and unfinished inside, is way too much in my opinion https://louisville.craigslist.org/tag/d/large-victorian-dollhouse/6461149392.html I saw one of this exquisite cribs the other day on an expensive Ebay lot, and I would love to buy it, but I don't feel like driving to Chicago just for this item, anyone closer should snatch it! https://chicago.craigslist.org/nwc/clt/d/dollhouse-furniture-canopy/6445872420.html

It looks European to me, so I would probably put a large box shape between it and the ceiling (as the hood). It is very cute.
