Tempting...

You can't afford to pass it up. You do need someplace to display the wonderful furniture you're making. :D

I've been following this because I thought the items were interesting and maybe I'd bid and today we're at $305? Wait, what? did I miss something?

I have the hunting portrait...it was super cheap. THe hurricane candle lamps are easily found - mine came with a franklin mint dollhouse. The fireplace grate is super common...what is going on there? The only thing I can think of is the one signed plate and maybe some of the silver is Eugene Kupjack? But I can't tell. I wonder what the deal is???

There are some collector's pieces in there. I’ve seen sterling pieces alone go for in the high-hundreds.

I wonder if they have to be a name item or if it can just be any silver item before it's valuable. I found a mini silver punch bowl in a shop about 30 years ago that's marked .95 sterling, or something like that. I bought it for $5. I wonder if it's worth any money as a silver item or if it's just worth what silver per ounce is worth. Not that I'd ever sell it. Wait, I lie, if it was worth a hundred thousand, of course I'd sell it. Money, money, money!

Oh but we know that worth does not equal market value...sadly. For example, my dollhouse is worth 2 million to me, but I know it would sell for a lot less. In fact, I got it for a song. But it is worth the world to me.

lol

Check out the houses that will be up for sale at the Seattle show - there's a Loren Kerf house for $300.

There are 3 "room in a book" pieces - all 3 for $75!

A finished house for $350 - which I think is lovely: http://www.seattleminiatureshow.com/uploads/6/1/7/1/6171065/moe-house-from-back-img-20171218-114018_orig.jpg

And this electrified, decorated farmhouse for $250. http://www.seattleminiatureshow.com/uploads/6/1/7/1/6171065/gabbert-farm-inside_orig.jpg

Boy - the prices are nice at Seattle.

Those are some great dollhouses in Seattle! But I don't think the one listed as 1/2" scale is really 1/2" scale? I don't see how those dimensions could be right (38" high and 19" deep?)
