I ran across a container divided in half and one of those halves in half again; my wood utensils live in the half section and the other half is split between my wire whisks and utensils for the nonstick cookware.

First spoon (scroll down)... it can use some work, but it's not bad for a first attempt. I probably won't throw it away but will camouflage it in a crock with other utensils. :D

Whoooooa - I LOVE IT! Bravo!!!

I recently got a General Store Room box (franklin Mint version) off ebay  and love it. Do any of you have a General/Country store in your collection?

I came across this one on ebay (this is not the one I got, but I like it a lot!) and it is adorably charming (imo), though price is higher than I'd want to spend. But cute photos - love the post office boxes:

This is very good. I am starting to like the room boxes, one can decorate and show beautifully and they need little space. At first I did not like them at all I frankly thought they were pointless but I have turned around 100% on them over the past few months after seeing pictures here..thank you. This one is rather nice.

I felt the same way about roomboxes, I didn’t understand their appeal. After getting in to dolls now I like the idea of a single room as a showcase for a special doll. I’d love to do both a historicaly correct Tudor room and a Georgian room.

That one is really cute.

I also found my myself wanting to immerse into the interior details far more than the exterior details - those became a burden to complete - so roomboxes are nice for me, too. I really like this one.

I got to see this house up close at a miniature shop in Menlo Park, CA. To say it's a large dollhouse is understating it a bit. It's a good thing this is local pickup only, or I'd be sorely tempted to get it. And I can't afford it now!

Something about this one I like... Not sure about the large front window though... https://apps.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1871483213150039

Dagnabbit, Janet! This one is ten minutes from me. I like the large front window. It would make a nice mid-century modern house. It's good that mid-century modern doesn't ring my chimes. :D

It would make a great Key West style guest house with dining room behind that huge window.

You are too kind, but it's not something I'm into, either.  We have a lot of members in your neck of the woods, though.

If it's for a child's playhouse you could use simple homemade decoration and trim using scrap wood? I like how simple it is.

True, I think this is a finished version of the same house, pretty good built...https://minneapolis.craigslist.org/hnp/art/d/hand-crafted-doll-house/6609759948.html

Beautiful brownstone  https://milwaukee.craigslist.org/clt/d/lighted-3-story-townhouse/6603822132.html

I took the plunge and will pick up this one this afternoon, not sure yet how I will finish it. It is for a very active girl, so the idea of using basic style for now will probably do. When she gets older it can be updated.... https://milwaukee.craigslist.org/tag/d/doll-house/6592614951.html
