I think this is one of the houses that didn't sell at the Portland show. There was only an outside pic of it on the show site, so here are some inside pics as well. I'm almost tempted to go down and get it myself.

I picked up this house - well this model and while I payed less, this house is in better condition it seems...the construction is super super solid...its a beast.  Who ever gets it will have a blast!

The Visalian is a very cool house. I have it in half-scale and quarter-scale.

that is sooooo pretty

It is pretty all right, if anyone is interested and need some ideas, check my album for the one I built not too long ago http://www.greenleafdollhouses.com/forum/?app=gallery&module=gallery&controller=browse&album=7613

I bashed it a little bit, adding more space to the kitchen/bathroom areas. I had a blast finishing this house. I love it.

This is interesting - Bauder Pine Puritan kit: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Bauder-Pine-Puritan-1-24-Scale-Gambrel-Dollhouse-Kit-May-1991-Nutshell-News-Lot/163329006052

This is the one from the front cover of Nutshell News. I suspected there was a kit version of this house but didn't know RGT had anything to do with it. I'd love to have it, but not for $400.

I love that house. $400 is too much - and the plans are in Nutshell News...but I love this link because I had NO IDEA someone made a kit. Wow. I would love a 1:48 kit of many Sears houses.

I remember someone on this forum looking for this exact house, but I don’t remember who it was :(

It was a long time ago.

I remember a partially built one on eBay about three years ago, or maybe it was a complete shell. I think it went for over $200 (iirc I bid and that was my upper limit). I remember it was right before we moved in Oct 2015 because I was worried about where I would ship it to if I won.

I wonder if the window and door holes in the RGT version are sized for Houseworks components? The original plans have holes for Bauder Pine doors and windows.

I'm going to email the guy from RGT who gave me details about that flea market house I bought recently, and see if he has any other info about the kit. I'm really curious how many were made since it's not *that* old but I've never seen them before. (Okay, 1995 was over twenty years ago, but it's still more recent than the First Lady!)

The roof slope on the addition is not to code!

At first I was curious as to how they would do free shipping, then I read the fine print and saw that it is an unassembled kit. WOW, it is pricey!

37 pieces of silver miniatures. This auction house is not far from me. I may have to take a ride and have a look. I fell in love with a 17th century silver chandelier in Amsterdam but the price was prohibited. Maybe this collection will be more in my budget. I need to ask where it was all made and when.

I attended this auction tonight and the 37 mini pieces of silver went for $450 to an online bidder. The auctioneer made a comment that there had been a lot of online interest in this item. I almost said, “You’re welcome”.
