This would be a neat rehab!

I would so buy this house if it was closer.  It reminds me of the houses in the town I grew up in. The brick looks to be paper so that could be pulled off.  Although, I do like the look of brick on this style of house, I just don't like paper brick.  The attached garage is something we don't see very often.  Along with the framing in the garage and the attic.  Wow, the more I look at it more I love this house.

Two half scale beauties from an estate, both with low starting bids (but already climbing):

Bill Lankford "A Place for all Seasons": https://www.ebay.com/itm/1993-BILL-LANKFORD-Dollhouse-WINTER-COTTAGE-Custom-Made-OOAK-SO-PRETTY/173734077756

Bauder Pine tudor: https://www.ebay.com/itm/ADORABLE-LITTLE-COTTAGE-Dollhouse-TUDOR-HOUSE/173734077114

I have the Bill Lankford house but mine still needs a lot of work. The one on eBay comes with the winter base but originally this house had two bases, summer and winter. There's more info about this house on my blog if you're curious: http://www.emilymorganti.com/blog/?p=10200

Also here are a ton of "dollhouse for a dollhouse" kits by Pam Junk. Anyone making a miniature store? https://www.ebay.com/itm/Dollhouse-Miniature-Estate-Lot-House-Kits-Small-Scale/303026388591

I think that Lankford house is so cute - I'd want to make a new Summer base - the poor snow has yellowed. But I like how the house looks - and I enjoyed looking at yours, too!

Action figure doll maker for customisers TBLeague looks to be branching into 1:12 dolls. The link here is for the first one (pre-order currently - due first quarter of 2019) Thought I'd post it here though because the doll has 22 points of articulation and seems to have what I would call "barbie" skin over an internal metal skeleton making for a very realistic doll. I'm pretty sure I'll be getting one of these.. she has a pretty eurasian face and I'd like a doll that doesn't have as many joins as the current bjds on the market. :) Not overly expensive either, which is always great.

Please be aware that as this doll is made for the action figure customiser market it has a bit of an over the top stylised body type.. with some "realistic" features.. Everything is covered in the link but if you are easily offended don't look. :)

@Samusa good luck he has beautiful stuff. I'm pretty sure I meet him at the Good Sam show in San Jose he had a display that I just loved called the hall of mirrors. Because of all the mirrors though just so hard to get a good photo. I believe these items will be in perfect shape.

Sadly not sure why the shot is sideways opps

Rehab for pickup in Portland: https://www.ebay.com/itm/vintage-doll-house-with-electric-lighting/292923810316

Is that a Dura-Craft Victorian Mansion? At first I thought it was the Crestview, but maybe it's the mansion and the house is getting cut off in the photos? (After looking it up, it's definitely not a Crestview.)

It looks like a Victorian mansion with some modifications . The top balcony isn’t there and I believe there was a peaked gable in the porch roof of the original. I like their changes though. :)

I think I've seen that house on Craig's List before a couple of times, but I'm not sure what it is. I think the bay window on the side on the second floor is an old Houseworks one and I also think the porch that was opened on the tower is a change to the original design. The tower and the bay window on the side of the house on the first floor is part of the original design. There are a lot of extra walls that have been added in the interior.

It would have to be completely stripped down and redone - did you guys see how dark that strawberry wallpaper is in what I guess is the kitchen? I'd put this house at the early 80s or late or mid 70s.

I have to admit, I don't think I'd want to rehab this one, although for someone else, it might be a fun project. But it would need all the trim and wallpaper replaced, plus probably new doors and windows, a thorough cleaning, a new paint job, and I'd probably rewire it. About the only thing I'd keep would be the roof. That means someone would not only have to completely redo it like a new dollhouse, they'd be faced with taking off all the old stuff, too. And I'm reasonably sure another house like that in shell form will come on the market.
