Ebay, Etsy & Craig's List Links

These two keep popping up when I search Craigslist.  Ugh, as I have said before, someone would be unhappy with me bringing another house into our house!

Granville $200 OBO.  It's been there a long while so that OBO might be a way to go!

This is interesting Willowcrest, as I thought at first it was built to look like this, but after reading more, it is what happened to it after it sat in the floodwaters.

I do like the abandoned/haunted dollhouse theme, but I could do without the REAL mold in the bathroom! Shriek!!!

Two overpriced "beauties" today:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Great-Big-Old-Wooden-Dollhouse/113642980788 -- I love the description on this one, "Been sitting in my warehouse many years, covered in dust." Way to sell it!

https://www.ebay.com/itm/LAST-CALL-ASSEMBLED-Includes-100-pcs-furniture-accessories-Artply-Dollhouse/254123182478 -- "All the hard work has been done!" :dunno:

Poor little dusty house! That description - including the "thank you" - made me lol.

clearly theres a premium for "dust included" lol....gotta love how some people view things.  Just cleaning up would be a major improvement to its presentation.

There is something incredibly charming about this old house. I like the way even though it is a front opening house the back is finished complete with rear door and windows. In fact I love that it has windows on all sides. Needs some work but could be really lovely.

I’ve said that I want a Greenleaf Westville as my first dollhouse. That is still true. However, I just bought a Greenleaf Beacon Hill for $100 Canadian through my local Buy and Sell! The BH is second on my list, but there was no way I could turn it down. AND it was only 100km away (note: I live in BFE British Columbia).

I'm so excited!

I too love this one. And it is within driving distance for me. But...I got my Beacon Hill, so I really can't adopt another house. BUT I LOVE this one - love the arched entry way, the landing with the doors to the bathroom and bedrooms...it's really nicely done. And per my usual way, I really wouldn't change a thing (I love old wallpaper chosen by others) except to tidy and fix it up. Great house.

Nice work.

I found my Beacon Hill match after years of waiting and it was 110% worth it. I love that house.

You have more will power than me. If I was in driving distance, I’d be in the car.. lol.... I like the wallpaper in this one too.. it’s really charming. The floors look in good condition too. I agree it just needs a bit of s freshen up on the exterior and a good clean. I’d be tempted to add crown moulding also. :D

It is almost perfection except I don't love the stairs. I don't like open treads. But I really do like the wallpaper as is, the floors, the colors...it's a great house.

I agree! The stairs are a disappointment. I prefer closed also. I think they built them like that so you could see the space behind.. but I would prefer them closed. :)

There’s this group of various House of Miniatures and Dura Craft kits (looks like 13 or 14), two how-to books and four books of wallpaper/floor coverings. All for the low, low price of $250 CDN (actually, the per unit price isn’t bad).

It’s local to me, but that’s more than I want to pay at one time. I am thinking of seeing if they’d break up the whole kit-n-kaboodle. All I would want are the HoM kits. (They’d go with the Beacon Hill, not the Westville). Anyway, just thinking out loud.

Not sure how you'd get to the front rooms:

Kelly- if I got that house I would possibly remove the chimney and make a side opening door!  It's such a great house with lots of potential!  As a renovator, it hurts me to see such a beauty go by the wayside!  Sure hope someone buys it and fixes her up!

You're not enabling me to get this house are you? Because I've heard a lot of enabling in my time and this sure sounds like enabling. :roflmao:

Paraphrase from a movie and I'll give brownie points to anyone who knows what movie it's from.
