When you are ready for a dry climate, here is the link. I need to plan a visit, as I haven't seen it.

It's wonderful!  I was there a couple of years ago when they were also having their sale.  Mom lives in Tempe and my brother, who lives in Scottsdale, used to live in Tucson.  Both are suburbs of Phoenix.  We all drove down to Tucson to see both.  It was well worth the visit.  Phoenix Miniatures are having their show and sale this weekend.  http://phoenixminiatures.com/2019-miniature-show-sale/  I wish I could go.  :sad_2:

This isn't a normal  sales site, but I just bumped into this:

https://www.reddit.com/r/Dollhouses/comments/awlnwe/hello_i_am_seeking_wise_counsel_on_my_mothers/

I suggested in the comments they post it for sale on this forum. I feel like this is a loving place to sell a dollhouse with people who really know their stuff.

That is so charming. I'd be tempted to get it if it was within driving distance for me. It's so cute - I like everything  - colors and furniture - and would keep it as is. I hope it finds the right person.

Phoenix, Tuscon?Just no. Dry is one thing, scalding hot is something else. I'm too hot when the temp goes over 70. LOL

@minilover62 That garage looks remarkably similar to my husbands.....I hope some guy isn't selling off his wife's stuff! Probably more likely he bought a storage container and uses english as a second language!

  • Carrie, I am plop! please clarify because I was considering getting this lot, and maybe somebody else as well! If it is your stuff, no way!

I love it!! I want to go!

You could make a tour of Arizona....see the Grand Canyon in the north, then drive about 7 hours to the south. I have their mini-show on my bucket list, and the museum.

LOl!  Driving 3 hours each way doesn't make it easy, I think I will pass, but somebody closer should rescue this lot.

Ooh, that is a drive. I don't get the feeling from the posting that this is somebody who would ship it to you either. I love those windows. Carmen, are you the same person who likes those Northeastern 1:144 kits? Did you see the recent listing for the Beacon Hill and 2 other kits?

Plus the shipping could be expensive these days! Yes, I am! I already have all the kits, but I am watching for some other people that are still hunting for some kits, like my friend Donna that needs the Seaside kit and the Victorian Bay kit. I saw the trio and I was bidding but it got too high for my blood! It sold for over $130! One kit that I would like is the Savannah from Laser Tech.

I am trying without success to get my hands on Alison Jr in milled plywood. The few sites I’ve found either don’t respond to questions or only have mdf. Superior Dollhouse supposedly has them at 140 above retail but I can’t get ahold of them.

Any tricks you guys have to find retired kits?

https://www.ebay.com/itm/223440480897?ul_noapp=true This cute kit I have never seen before. What puzzles me is how it is unopened but the instructions are outside :ermm:

Perhaps they mean the parts have not been taken from the box or otherwise messed with.
