I think this is a 1:24 Golden Gate? https://www.ebay.com/itm/Half-Scale-vintage-Artisan-Victorian-Dollhouse-Handcrafted-By-Sue-Utley-1-24/273766434654?hash=item3fbdc0475e:g:jBYAAOSwJihcjtAN

Here's the Golden Gate plan book for comparison: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Dollhouse-Constructions-Plans-Victorian-Golden-Gate-house-Half-scale/382850467755?hash=item5923aa87ab:g:aGoAAOSwOc5ca1GP&frcectupt=true

The only one of these I've ever seen built up is the model house for the front of the plan book, which was for sale at Dollhouses Trains and More for several years (I'm not sure if it's still there).

Don't know if either of these have been posted before but...

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Dollhouse-With-Side-Openings/273749396556?_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIM.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20131231084308%26meid%3D3dbb779c9ef741ddba9b4d35ae73acbe%26pid%3D100010%26rk%3D4%26rkt%3D12%26sd%3D264206934088%26itm%3D273749396556&_trksid=p2047675.c100010.m2109

If this were anywhere near me my bank account would already be minus $450. There's definitely some weirdness going on with the wallpaper and the tiles and some other areas (those doorknobs!) but I don't think it would take too much work to really turn this into something grand. I don't think I'd even change the exterior at all. I wonder if the second owner cut those interior stairs in. There are some signs that that is the case. It's really all just an odd mix because on one hand it looks like someone really did some precise and detailed work but on the other hand they didn't bother with to scale wallpaper or floors.

This seems like a steal at $300...

Looks like a RGT 1700 series with two additions. I wonder why someone would get this far along, including even cutting out the doors for the additions, and then stop. The shell kit alone would've been around $300. Someone should scoop this up because this seems like a lot of dollhouse for that price.

Tim, that first house is an American Crafts Queen Anne Rowhouse, a house most of us would give their eyeteeth for. Back in the mid 80s, the house sold for about $300 then for just the kit.

I found this the other day:

And there's this on eBay, the front-opening Colonial from the kit or the 3-in-one planbook:

Oh, wow ... I've been thinking of doing the exterior of my Beacon Hill with gray stucco and quoins, just like this. I really like this exterior, only I think I'd make the shutters black to match the shingles on the mansard roof of the house and tower cap. I'm glad to see how it looks. I like it! :)

$3500 for all that?  I'd say it's a bargain for someone who can afford it.

Now I remember! I posted it!. It was posted on Chicago Craigslist, asking $3,500 for everything.

I've never heard of Hill House dollhouse. They have presented this as there are sides widthwise beyond the main front....is that right or are those just the sides, laid out to look like wings? Does anyone have a photo of it built?

I don't know much about the company or their line, but I know when I do see them, they are rare.  They are nice kits with cabinet grade plywood.  Those are just the side panels and not wings.  I tried to find a picture of it completed, but could not. :dunno:

@madtex1967  Dang.....I want a reason to buy those windows!!! :drool2:

So you just need a little nudge?  NUDGE!!!!!  :happydance:

I have those windows and doors in my stash for a kit bash of one or two of my houses.  I have found, since they have more than one of each, make an offer for the whole set at a low(er) price.  Many sellers will take the offer rather than sell off piece by piece.

This post broke my heart. The little girl looks to me like a mini version of Drew Barrymore. https://quadcities.craigslist.org/tag/d/hampton-help-me-find-this-dollhouse/6808462697.html

Oh, it broke my heart, too; and if it was the ex, the dollhouse & contents could very well be in thousands of pieces by now.

It is a long shot as she says, but I hope so badly that she finds her loved dollhouse. Some people are sooo bad that I always have a hard time understanding how can anybody harbor and act upon such bad feelings. It amazes me.

It was stolen 11 years ago. It doesn't seem likely it has survived. I hope she thinks about building a new house for her daughter so they can create new memories.
