Anyone know what this is? https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sfc/art/d/san-francisco-partly-assembled/6947359237.html

They say it's a kit, but it's a stick construction. The only kits I know of like that are some of the Carlson houses (like the Golden Gate) but I have no idea what this one might be.

It is the Sunnywood kit from Carlson. Here is a listing for a kit, not too far from where a live. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/587656678307249/

Yee-gads, for that price I'd pay for a freight company to go pick it up and crate it!

I know! She obviously doesn't know what it is. The ad says here mom was Ms. Peggy.

Six-feet long, six-feet high, and 19 rooms. At least it comes furnished (such as it is).

I saw that thing! My husband would have a heart attack......I can see it on my entry way wall,  all decked out LOL! Can you imagine the dusting involved?

I'd be tempted to tell her but I did that once. Never again. You know the saying, "No good deed goes unpunished." Well, it's true. Did I ever get told off for telling someone they had a Lawbre house. They were insistent their great-grandfather built it in the 1940s. It was beautiful and sold for $150. Oh well, not my loss!

I'd have framed glass doors made for it. Probably expensive but worth every penny just to avoid that dusting.

Furnished in HBS and $Tree1  For that price and a glorified bookcase you'd think the furnishings could be OOAK artisan pieces.

Lacamas Lake House in Texas: https://offerup.com/item/detail/668185019/

That was posted three months ago, so maybe it's not available anymore. But the ad's still up, so maybe it is...

Since I am in Houston, I contacted the seller and it's still available.  Now, I have to decide if I want to drive 3-1/2 hours one way to go get it.  I have the Elliot Bay, do I really need another one of his houses.  Decisions, decisions.

I wouldn't have the space for one of those big houses let alone two, but I have always loved the Lacamas Lake House. I think it was also made in half scale as well and I have dreams of someday finding one. (Once there was a half scale Joseph Angel on eBay and I'd just bought another house so I didn't bid on it, trying to be "good", and I've regretted it ever since...)

On the other hand, that's a long drive. I don't think I'd drive 7 hours for any dollhouse!

The whole world has gone upside down.........Is Mary Jane  legal in Illinois? I don't know what they're smoking in P.A., I think they may have just bumped their heads.....I can only find this close to home https://lasvegas.craigslist.org/clt/d/las-vegas-victorian-dollhouse/6942402501.html

And it is legal here, so that explains that insanity!

I agree! some of those houses are outrageous compared to what you're getting!  You don't get to charge for time in service lol!

And then there's these kits, which I love but the price AND shipping are completely mad!

it seems that many of her things are completely overpriced but hey I guess you can list it however you want!
