fov
Queen Anne Rowhouse in California: https://sfbay.craigslist.org/scz/clt/d/soquel-victorian-doll-house/6966721637.html The aged look is interesting, BUT is that a bird with eggs in the foyer? I hope they're fake!
FurMama
Yep I do believe that is bird legs and a tail. Eggs don't look right though so hopefully all fake.
KathieB
I think the bird that laid those eggs (if they are real) would be too big to fit into the house unless there are no floors or walls on the inside.
havanaholly
That nest with eggs and bird, even if fake, is SO off-putting!
Qubanqtee
why? oh why is he doing that to an ACP Queen Anne Row?
Mid-life madness
That person knows nothing about scale....those eggs are obviously too large for that little bird....I think he may be a bit of a Dodo bird to use such a nice house as a bird house.....

Elsbeth
But there appears to be a water bowl or something nearby over to the right...whatever the case, that house will need a lot of TLC.
Qubanqtee
And the crazy part is that the house SOLD! I wonder what the intentions are for the new owner!

I have a 1:48 Monet Giverny house and I love the warm pink. I plan on making something similarly french in 1:48 and doing it pale muted pink as well. I love it.

Sold for $3,051. This is one of the few houses that I have seen getting sold for over one thousand in a kind of long time, not because the house doesn't deserve it but because it's getting harder and harder to find the people willing to pay the fair value on any piece.

That was fun to look at. It isn't overly ornate or finished inside (could use plenty more details) but it has a nice feel. Very pretty and has all the draperies and maids and pretty little things. I'm glad it sold for a decent price. They were able to reach a decent market via that site.
