Ebay, Etsy & Craig's List Links

Some people want to see how much they can get.  I don't consider Craig's List a prime outlet.  Craftsmanship, age, condition and availability are some of the major factors in pricing.

And people not knowing what they have, like this seller with a Lawbre Chateau selling it for $123 (and accepting offers)  https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/604531859991096

Obviously its a solid shell but its in pretty rough shape.  Tempting tho

very tempting, I was checking at the Lawbre site for replacement pieces, like the crescent moon on the front and didn't see any. It will take some money to bring back to its initial and final glory, but at this price if anyone was dreaming about one of this, this is your chance. Little by little it can be done.

If you really want the house, go for it. Teri may not have those listed on her site but could possibly make a batch for you as she has the molds. I would at least ask for pictures of the inside, seems odd they haven't posted any. If its blank, then you have merely the exterior to fix. That price is dirt cheap. If I didn't have one, I'd grab it in a heartbeat.

It's sold. I am not surprised. Hopefully it was one of us who grabbed it. Nice!

Awww this is a cute pottery workshop in 1:12.

My Be$t offer would not impress them, but I really admire the work that went into it and it's not a common theme I see in 1:12. How cute.

I like KathieB's MUCH better.

Anyone know what this is? https://www.ebay.com/itm/FINISHED-VICTORIAN-Dollhouse-THREE-STORIES-Pretty-BLUE/173783410570

It reminds me of the MiniWright Hillside Victorian and Country Victorian, which you can read about on my blog here: http://www.emilymorganti.com/blog/?p=4430

Looks like a Lady Kristine by Celerity.

I wish they had pictures of what the inside looks like.

This one is a custom made house, but Dura Craft  did a kit on the same CA house.  It was called the Alexandria and shows up from time to time on eBay.  There are also plans for this house in 1/6 (Barbie) scale for sale on eBay.

Wao, we look at dollhouses hundreds of times and every time we realized how amazing every thing is. I have seen multiple times the 1/144 Gingerbread house and also the Duracraft Alexandria kit, and never before noticed the similarities between them. Thanks Matt!

It's very sad that yet another miniature store is closing but might be an opportunity for locals to find some good deals:

https://sfbay.craigslist.org/nby/clt/d/santa-rosa-pegs-dollhouse-is-going-out/6812889771.html

I've never been there myself but it seems Emily found a few really cool buys there back in 2011:

I met her at the SD miniature show last weekend....she is a very friendly lady. She didn't mention going out of business. Her store was on my list to visit. Such a bummer!

Thanks for posting I really love some of her old stuff. So I’m heading up there in a bit. I’ll miss her she does a lot of the small shows around here. She’s really sweet and of course knows her stuff.

Just happens my hubby was going up near her to buy a tree for his mom.

So im now really extruded about my day.

Two overpriced "beauties" today:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Great-Big-Old-Wooden-Dollhouse/113642980788 -- I love the description on this one, "Been sitting in my warehouse many years, covered in dust." Way to sell it!

https://www.ebay.com/itm/LAST-CALL-ASSEMBLED-Includes-100-pcs-furniture-accessories-Artply-Dollhouse/254123182478 -- "All the hard work has been done!" :dunno:
