For only $400. I'm thinking about a day trip....STOP THAT....it would be more than a day trip....I wonder if Amtrak would allow me to bring that house on the train with me....STOP THAT!

for the price, it would be worth a flight and a car rental back to bring it - especially if you cold get there stand by

I have no place to put it - and I'd get evicted if I brought home another dollhouse. Besides, money wise, it's not out of my range right now, but I am saving to buy land and I really can't buy too many more things. *sigh*

I hate it when real life gets in the way of what we want - sigh

I love this house kit.. So retro 70's... reminds me of the house from the Brady Bunch. I think it could be super cute with new more realistic finishes. I think it might be 1:24. Super tempted! :D

I love that and I would go Brady with it.  I can just see the horse statue near the entry!

It is even cheaper on craigslist https://huntsville.craigslist.org/clt/d/lawbre-chateau-miniature-doll/6223224436.html

My first thought when I saw the pic and price on ebay was "I am going to buy this today" until I saw where it was located.  Another Lawbre in the East - of course.  Not exactly the Lawbre house I want but at that price I would not turn it down.  I was mapping out a trip though thinking it had been a few yeas since we drove across country and thinking about stops we could make on a mini vacation to Alabama.  Well, Saturday night I took a fall and broke two ribs so right now having enough trouble just breathing and moving about so a long road trip is out for me.  Someone please grab this house such a STEAL!

The vendor is calling this a Celerity Cape Cod... I have no idea because I've not seen it before.

It's called the Engleson house by Celerity. The style isn't anything close to a Cape Cod, but...oh, well.

I wish I had an unlimited budget..

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/172781006544?ul_noapp=true

but check out the glimpses of other houses behind.. this is a serious collection!

Ned Kellogg made many beautiful houses and since the seller has the name of Kellogg, I'm guessing they're trying to sell the remaining houses that were in their shop. Here's an archive of some of his houses:

Kelly, I believe in actuality it is his wife selling the houses -- and as she is still active on Facebook and selling newer houses, I believe she is still making them as well. In regards to the unlimited budget Sam -- I just won a lot on the Goodwill site here.  Definitely don't have an unlimited budget, but managed to score an awesome colonial style fireplace and will probably end up selling off the roomboxes that come with it. On the bright side, once those are sold that will I believe not only pay for the fireplace but also the house I have it planned for. lol

This Brinca Dada Edward house was $200 over the last weekend with the furniture included, and now just $50 more https://chicago.craigslist.org/nch/bab/d/edward-house-by-brinca-dada/6254473335.html

And this RGT Lincoln is really tempting me, I wish I had room for it https://madison.craigslist.org/art/d/lincoln-springfield-home/6252846381.html

This one has the look of Emily's first dollhouse, but at least the roof is different, very cute anyways https://chicago.craigslist.org/nwc/tag/d/furnished-custom-dollhouse/6252799417.html

I'll go pick it up for you if you want Deb :) Looks like it's back up to $250 though

I have the feeling that they would take the $200. I would buy it if it was in 1:12 scale just for the furniture. I am having such a hard time finding the furniture for my Paddington House project, that I am almost ready to give up.

Kit Kraft Salem Dollhouse Kit.  Great house, but with a broken piece and possible missing parts, I think the starting bid is high.

Batrie The Bradley Dollhouse Kit.  Another great house, but again, I feel the starting bid is high considering the cost of shipping.

This is the house that is also called Sparrow something - Sparrow Lane, I think. I just looked through all my catalogs and didn't see it, but I only looked through all of the early ones. Sparrow Lane could be a different version of the house, but maybe Batrie just changed the name. There was also another version of this house by Batrie called The Wellesley House. I did find that in my catalogs.
