Can't believe what this lot is going for, for a bunch of old clunky dollhouse furniture...wow. The only thing that looks unique is a needlepoint rug. Wondering if I'm missing something and there is a great treasure there...I need to rethink taking my bins of old furniture the goodwill lol

I don't get it either.

There appear to be some antiques in there - the antique tiny pillbox/tin. The furniture is vintage. Some people want the real deal. I have an old box of 1920s furniture. I just love it. Also, there are some nice accessories in there - but $300? Wow. I like it all, tho. BUT, there is a lot stuff from the 70s in there. And I guess that is vintage now, but back in my day it was the cheaper stuff.

That is weird, seems like she took a lot of trouble to find it and use it, I am wondering who it is, Vinalhaven is a small island community, my husbands family lives there and I go there a lot.

And the ebay description is so detailed - I wonder why they are sending it away? You can investigate! lol!

Ha Ha!

I think Barb should. @GoldenrodfarmShe knows something about the seller's location. I just wonder if the story is untrue, and she found it at the Goodwill?

Please somebody go grab this, my mouth waters thinking about what is wrapped inside the house, but I sadly have no room for this baby...https://chicago.craigslist.org/nwc/tag/d/victorian-doll-house-for-sale/6381282223.html

And this Room by room with all this furniture is a bargain! https://louisville.craigslist.org/bab/d/room-by-room-dollhouse/6375036090.html

I wonder if the place settings and the other bowls are sterling silver. Sometimes people don't know what they're selling. I bought a miniature punchbowl once for $5 and it's sterling silver and marked on the bottom.

This is interesting: https://boston.craigslist.org/nwb/fuo/d/raffle-20-ea-timberlina/6370980015.html

I was going to say it's the Houseworks front opening Victorian but one of the pictures shows instructions with the name Timberlina, which Google suggests is a manufacturer in the UK. It looks well made.

Another unusual one: https://boston.craigslist.org/nwb/art/d/dollhouse-kit-make-an-offer/6381605878.html

And a free Beacon Hill kit! https://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/zip/d/free-doll-house-kit/6381952864.html

The Timberlina is really gorgeous! I love the wood so much.

I found a 1999 newspaper article (http://www.sundaytimes.lk/990530/plus10.html)  about them just now and it looks like it might have been made in Sri Lanka by a husband and wife team. I can't actually find the name of the newspaper so I'm not absolutely positive about that but I think that's right.

That's pretty cool. The wood is beautiful. It's so close to the Houseworks dollhouse, I bet they built them off the Houseworks plan book.

Here's a roombox from a Ric Pierce class in California, no price listed: https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/clt/d/1-12-scale-dollhouse-roombox/6388115810.html

This is nice - I like the symmetry - but that second floor window right next to the porch door is a tad too big/close IMO. (I love it otherwise but now that I've noticed that I can't stop seeing it!) I wonder if it's a scratch build? Looks like there's a brass nameplate screwed on but the picture isn't close up enough to read it. https://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/atq/d/gorgeous-work-of-heart/6386452801.html

Ooh, and look at this Queen Anne by Fred Davis. https://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/clt/d/san-francisco-queen-anne/6385904296.html

Those are some neat houses, but I really like the Fred Davis. Someone had big plans for it at one time.

Don't recognize the first two, the third is the Petite Dreams house that was sold by XLarge Machine at Target. They came prepainted in that blue. The third looks like a RGT's Country Victorian that's been put together a little funky in regards to the second story porch..

The Sf area house with wonky porch is well done inside BUT it has a windowless kitchen blocking the front entry view....I need windows in my kitchens! But they sure poured a lot of love and skill and money into that house!
