One of the reasons we got the first ten seasons of CSI were for the series on the "miniature murders" and the episode with the McKinley. Well, that's kind of why I want to do this. Maybe after it's all done it'll be something pin-worthy. I'm going to keep adding things as I find them, and hopefully other people will too! Sable
This is a YouTube so I don't know if it qualifies as a movie or TV show but I thought I'd make you aware of the darker side when a the main character of a film is a dollhouse: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=OP_8mkM3L34

havanaholly
I couldn't watch all of the first one. I can't stand to see small animals tortured, either.
Anna
There is a little dollhouse in an attic scene in the Grimm series, Think the episode is called Sandman something, can't get a decent screen shot of it though.

That is a "behind the scenes" video of the dollhouse burning for this music video here - The Last Dance, by the Limousines. The music video actually shows the interior of the house (which was apparently a tiny murder scene. GAH!) I had heard the song (and I think it's quite pretty, too) but I hadn't ever seen the video. How weird. It looks like there are a bunch of dollhouse burning videos on YouTube, certainly more than I would have expected. Good find, KathieB and @Sable . I don't know that it occurred to me to look before. I wonder what the guy in Sable's video was hoping to get across? Weird.

Griffonfeathers
Well, there's a 100% flame free dollhouse in Mary Poppins. :) A Spoon Full of Sugar Keep them coming, you guys! This is so great!
Mid-life madness
There is an Victorian doll house the the movie Miss Potter. I can't find and clips or images from the movie. In the movie she retells The Tale of Two bad Mice. http://victoriabeatty.org/blog/?p=1467 https://en.wikisource.org/wiki/The_Tale_of_Two_Bad_Mice

havanaholly
I can't find any stills or videos of the scene in "Hook" with Julia Roberts' Tinkerbell in the Darling's dollhouse trying to convince Robin Williams/ adult Peter that he's really Peter Pan.

Well, some days it would be kind of handy, but most of the time I'd rather just do it myself. 7 hours ago, havanaholly said: I can't find any stills or videos of the scene in "Hook" with Julia Roberts' Tinkerbell in the Darling's dollhouse trying to convince Robin Williams/ adult Peter that he's really Peter Pan. Oh wow, Holly! It's been so long since I watched "Hook" I hadn't remembered that at all! Good addition! Thank you! (And now i have to watch "Hook" again. I love that movie, but as a Wendy, I think I'm legally required to like everything "Peter Pan" related. ;) )
TerriAnn
Here is the Thornhill dollhouse I found for $50 at Goodwill in Pensacola, FL. I had a video company ask me if they could use it for a music video.
grazhina
Don't remember if this one was on one of the previous lists. I'm watching Agatha Christie's Hercule Poirot in After The Funeral. After a few minutes I recalled that this was the one with a dollhouse in the drawing room. Unfortunately I keep getting a message that the image is too big, even though it isn't. I checked it 3 times.
Elsbeth
I'm adding this reference in - as I stumbled across it today: http://neptsdepths.blogspot.com/2016/09/ready-set-ghost.html The dollhouse from a TV show called "Ghost Story". I know nothing much more about it besides "there's a dollhouse!!!" And I think the house happens to resemble the same house they use as an exterior reference in Bewitched. Also - it's little Jodie Foster as the little girl, ladies and gentleman! Some other photos of the interior of the house: http://reflectionsonfilmandtelevision.blogspot.com/2012/07/cult-tv-blogging-ghost-storycircle-of_29.html Finally, I would love to have a miniature Morning Glory Cir. house with Samantha and Darren's furnishings. And a tiny uncle Arthur.
havanaholly
I rewatched the "Werewolf" episode of CSI yesterday,, and the dollhouse is NOT the McKinley, although in the brief glimpse one gets of it that's the impression it leaves.
Elsbeth
I tracked down this one just to see the dollhouse --I actually enjoyed the mystery. https://www.amazon.com/Secrets-Attic-aka-Dollhouse-Murders/dp/6303104029 The dollhouse had a huge role.

rodentraiser
Somebody uploaded all the seasons of CSI the other day and I just finished watching Season 1. Holly, if you have Season 1, take a look at Episode 18. This is the one where the house collapses because of the jet planes flying overhead. Towards the end, they show the house collapsing but if you look really close, that's a dollhouse of course. And to my eyes now, it doesn't even look that realistic. If you've ever watched Patriot Games with Harrison Ford, his daughter has a Beacon Hill in her bedroom.

We have the first ten seasons of CSI because once Ted Danson joined the cast the whole character of the show changed and I couldn't watch it any longer (I'm not really a fan of TD), but I did think that scene you referenced looked like a miniature. I watched the "Kiss Kiss, Bye Bye" episode yesterday and thought what fun it would be to reproduce Faye Dunaway's character's house.
rodentraiser
I have to differ on Ted Danson. Yes, the show changed a little and I really thought he was going to ruin it entirely too, but his character turned out OK, I thought. I was pleasantly surprised. Plus, they had already used up every plot line that was available, so they had to get some new ones in. I'll have to look at that episode with Faye Dunaway in it again to see the house. Wasn't that the episode with Jonathan Banks in it as well? EDIT: Oh, forgive me, I went waaaaaaaaaay off topic and feel off the edge, didn't I? And that Ghost Story episode, "House of Evil" and "Secrets in the Attic: The Dollhouse Murders" are both on it! They are both available on YouTube and there are links in the blog entry. I loved them both. That is absolutely fascinating that the "Ghost Story" house was Darren and Samantha's house too! WOW!!! Now I feel like I learned something. I love this thread. Thank you all so much! And thank you @TerriAnn for starting it! :)
