Taylor
Hi! My name is Taylor and I'm new to the mini world! I am thinking about starting with fixer upper homes and then buying a kit. If you guys have any tips or information it's really appreciated thanks!
havanaholly
Welcome to the little family, Taylor. I have requested your post be moved to the Newcomers' Forum. My first suggestion would be to read over the forum and familiarize yourself with it. Do ask questions, someone will have an answer for you.

Mid-life madness
Hi Taylor, welcome to the forum. My suggestion is to have fun with whatever you choose. Try not to get frustrated with any problems that crop up.
Beulah
Hi Taylor. Welcome. I have never done a rebuild but I love doing the kit. I think starting from scratch and not fixing other peoples mistakes may be easier. But that is just me.
L Swearengin
Get a small house to start with. Hobby lobby does carry the orchid dollhouse with the 40% coupon it will be reasonable. Rehabbing is not as easy as it might seem. I'm in the process of my 3rd rehab. It's hard to fit wallpaper in already made rooms, IMHO

I hit them with the heat gun to remove all the old glue and basically rebuild them using carpenter's wood glue. My first rehab was put together for ever and I made lots of paper templates of the walls.
