The mini potter

Hello! I just joined up on advice from my family. I've been making miniature pottery/ceramic pieces from polymer clay and air dry clay for a while now, and have been considering making them even tinier so they can be used in dollhouses! I do like the idea of them being used, and not just shut up in a box somewhere (as they currently are).

While my pieces are so far mostly plates or vase/jug forms, I hope to branch out to more conventional pieces as well. Crockery and such.

My designs often center on Central American (Maya, Panamanian) and Southwest American Indian (Acoma, Hopi, Mimbres...) designs, as well as Greek and Moroccan, but I also do other abstract geometric designs and floral. Also birds. I know the former subjects aren't really conventional for dollhouse pottery, but I'll still make some. I'll include a few links to my pottery, as well as a somewhat informal picture of a batch that I just varnished. I know they're too large at this point for dollhouses, but I shall work on shrinking them. I just received good advice on making sure to thin them out as I scale down. If only I had a kiln! This would be so much easier with real clay.

I also want to make miniature paintings. I've made a few but am unsure what subjects people would like. I know what I'd like, but I have strange tastes. Landscapes and Still-Lifes kind of bore me, I'll admit.
