If you take your time and hold the edges down with clothes pins and other clamps it can be done. The more I upholster, the better the results.

Have you done an upholstered piece before?

I found the leather I'll be using now I need to ask what glue did you use .

I used Aileen's tacky glue. I used wooden clothes pins to clamp around the areas I used card stock.

I also use tacky glue for upholstery.  I'm partial to the itty "micro" plastic spring clamps I get in tubes at Harbor Freight:  https://www.harborfreight.com/Micro-Spring-Clamp-Set-6-Pc-69375.html

Just for info. I bought another Masonic apron on ebay a few days ago, It is white lambskin, of course it can be dyed. With shipping it only cost me $17 and there is a lot of very thin leather in it, very soft and pliable
