madtex1967 Posted December 9, 2017 Share Posted December 9, 2017 Hi All, I hinted at this earlier in another post. I am ready now to tell a bit, especially since we have a closing date set. My partner (Marshall) and I have bought a house! As of Friday the 15th, I will be a homeowner in New Orleans. After 15 years of renting, I took the plunge. Best of all, it has enough space for a room dedicated to building minis (and his home office)! I can work on more than one house at a time and not be cramped. It's an exciting step and a Merry Christmas for us! For those of you that saw my post in the eBay forum, he still doesn't know that I recently bought the Tara house, but knows it will be my next build. He thinks I have had the kit for a while now! You both must be thrilled .With a closing date of the 15th will you get in and settled in time for Christmas., how special if you manage to get a tree up, you couldn't have chosen a better time. Does Marshal do the houses as well ? And it is gorgeous New Orleans, was on my bucket list but getting more doubtful all the time. Lucky you two!! I managed to get some sense of order, clean and even put a small tree up.
