MiniMaven
I think it's safe to say most of us have never seen a dollhouse like this before. A street artist created a rather haunting 1/10 scale abandoned house...reminds me of some of the places you see in my Rust Belt town! https://mymodernmet.com/alice-pasquini-abandoned-dollhouse/
jbnmini
Interesting! I do house rehabs, so I look at this and think how it could be brought back to life! NOT the intent of the artist.
Keifer
Very interesting. Some people have a knack for creating that aged and weathered look...I am not one of them.
Elsbeth
It definitely looks like an aged toy house. I have been impressed with the hyper realistic weathering the train folks do - they do some amazing tiny weathering! I like the street art vibe with this house tho. havanaholly
The brand newness of the dormers and chimney sort of takes away that "abandoned-ness" the article said the artist was going for. I like to play with my dollhouses and create with them, and I certainly don't want to create or play with a mess like that.
rodentraiser
LMAO! I've been looking at houses (real ones) for sale back in the Midwest and in Massachusetts and some eastern states and that's exactly how they look! Only these have For Sale signs on them and the realtors say all they need is a little TLC. Seriously!
roseleigh
Very cool. I like to watch those videos on YouTube where they explore abandoned places. Thanks for sharing.
amyole
I understand that this is considered artistic expression, but it hurts my doll house soul to look at the pictures.
KathieB
If this is the centerpiece, I'd like to see the rest of the exhibit.
