Khadi
Hi, I assume you're asking regarding crackle paint. I've used it before. I don't recall if it is thick but follow the directions exactly as they are on the container and it should turn out. The only time it didn't for me is when I didn't follow the process exactly. havanaholly
Is it possible to get 1:1 crackle paint to crackle in 1:12 scale?

I used a medium crackle with acrylic over top to get a peeling paint look rather than a true crackled look. It worked pretty well once I followed the directions carefully. I haven't seen a small crackle but perhaps there is one.
havanaholly
The small crackle I've seen was done putting a layer of clear drying tacky glue over the base coat and painting over that.
BigC
I think its all in the application of the product, I have used crackle paint quite extensively on projects of late mostly bath caddy's (dont ask me why folks flock for these of late)..but if you do some samples with varying degrees of thick thin applications I'm sure you'll find a solution....Regards C
Mineejv
I love that Bath Caddy ( if I had time to sit in the tub) What a great idea you had.......
