HalfScaleDollhouseLOVER
If somebody has built this kit or one by the Laser Dollhouse Design Company, could they please help me with the flooring pieces. I can get the base to take all the A pieces, but after I tape them together for my dry fit, I cannot get the next floor to fit on top! My last dry fit, I just didn't have the correct tape and simply sat each floor on top of one another after I had completed it. So I have Completed a dry fit three times now, and although with this last time I did have the correct type of tape, I still could not get the flooring to actually fit. HELP! Is there a trick to this?

HalfScaleDollhouseLOVER
Let me take a photo of what I have done so far to dry fit it together. I shall post it here.

Mid-life madness
Did you shave down the tabs or widen the slots so they go together easily and the wall sits flush?

It's a laser cut kit; fitting tabs & slots should not be an issue. That said, if those tabs won't go down into the slots a wee shave of the tabs with a utility knife might help. That's an awfully pretty kit.
HalfScaleDollhouseLOVER
The tabs actually fit perfectly on both the top and bottom, but I think I am still going to need to cut the top ones off and simply fit the next level on too of them without the top tabs to make it easier. I'be even watched the videos for putting these laser cut kits together and they said to do one side, and hold it down until they are all in. I did that, and even tapped them down, but when I went to do the last floor the bottom ones came out yet again. I'm SO frustrated with them! They fit, but won't stay together. ARGH!I But... All of this frustration has made me think about some things, and I'm going to modify the floor plan, along with removing the top tabs. I've looked at a few of this kit built and I want to make mine unique since it will be my very first kit that I will actually finish. I'm excited to build it and get into Collecting Quarter Scale. :-D

Then what could the issue be ? 3 hours ago, havanaholly said:
1martinimomma
I have purchased several items from that company. The owner, Leonard Fricke, is extremely friendly and very helpful. You could try sending him an email and see if he has any advice. He usually responds back to emails very quickly.
