Susan18
I apologize for not doing this sooner; I have already made some comments on some posts without introducing myself; I apologize if this is considered bad manners - I certainly don't mean to be rude! I have wanted a dollhouse of my own for as long as I can remember. A "real" dollhouse - which meant, of course, one made out of wood. What I grew up with was a Marx tin dollhouse & a "Petite Princess" vinyl box (just dated myself! LOL!). And then I got married. And I had kids. None of whom wanted a dollhouse nearly as much as I had, so one was never purchased. But now, my oldest is engaged & ready to move out - & I got a fabulous eBay deal on my DREAM dollhouse: the Beacon Hill. Right now, it's definitely in the planning stages, &, knowing me, & how I just have to mess with things, it's going to be in that stage for a looooong time! havanaholly
Welcome to the little family, Susan. I don't think anyone is too old to enjoy playing with a dollhouse.

Emerald
Welcome Susan...you are not alone. Sometimes I forget there is a spot to welcome new people. How rude it that? Could luck on your Beacon Hill build.
