grazhina
When I go to one of my local supermarkets and I want to buy some sirloin steak, they very often don't have any. None. Zero. Do people in other parts of the country have this problem? I've been wondering if there was a sirloin steak shortage. Are all the restaurants buying it up or something? Just thought I'd ask. Mid-life madness
It is hit or miss here....I have found a lot of different cuts of beef in our Hispanic markets. They tend to buy the leaner tougher cuts and marinate them for shredded beef recipes.
Sable
I guess it’s all coming to Florida. Was on sale today $6.99 per pound.
havanaholly
We aren't much on beef in our house, but occasionally Rouse's will put Tbones or strip steaks on sale for less than $6/ lb, and since it's lovely Texas grass-fed beef we can almost cut it with a fork, so I pick some up from time to time. I haven't noticed any sirloin, though.
