Mermaid84
Help! I’m refurbishing a Washington house that is already put together. Everything but the roof is attached. But the house foundation isn’t level and the house rocks back and forth. I scraped off the old siding. But I feel like the house should be level before I do anything else to it. Has anyone run into this problem before? I measured the walls of the foundation. They’re all 5 cm long. I don’t really know what the problem is. Can anyone offer some advice on how to fix it? Sable
Sounds like the main floorboard is warped. Can you attach a photo? Take a level and put it along the sides and on the floors. If the bubble is not centered the house is not square. A level App available on smart phones will give you the degrees that it is off by. If you shave off part of the foundation you may end up with the Leaning Tower of Pisa.
