Shareb
My gorgeous son (age 16) just came through to show me a preview of a movie coming out at the end of the year. I have a feeling this is one that the majority of us will love on several different levels! I believe it's based on a true story and is directed by the same person who directed Forest Gump. Welcome to Marwen.

havanaholly
Robert Zemeckis also directed the "Back to the Future" movies. I love that someone has finally made a movie showing the positive therapeutic benefits of playing with minis!

Elsbeth
I remember watching the documentary about the original creator - very interesting story. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marwencol Looks like Marwen is a dramatization of that...there was some heavy stuff in the documentary - so I wonder how they will handle or not handle that.

amyole
Thank you for this. I have never heard of this man or his work and am intrigued. Like Holly said, miniatures are very therapeutic - for the creator and the ones who "play" with them.
