Received the following via email. Even though most members are not in the Atlanta TV area, thought I'd share so you'd know that our passion hobby is getting some sunshine. I'll be visiting Miniature Designs in a couple of weeks when friend NJ is here. :)

Good Day Mini Lovers,

Here at Miniature Designs we are beyond Excited to Announce that we are going Hollywood Style!!  This Monday September 17th, 2018 FOX TV will be here doing a LIVE segment that will air on Good Day Atlanta on FOX starting roughly at 8:20am through 9:40am.  Paul Milliken, from FOX TV will be on sight at Miniature Designs and will be showcasing  All of our Wonderful Miniatures that we have here and also we will be displaying Miniature Projects that fellow members of The Atlanta Miniature Society have worked on over the years.

We are gearing up for the 39th Annual Atlanta Miniature Society Show and Sale that will be held the weekend of September 28th and 29th, 2018 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Atlanta at 4386 Chamblee Dunwoody Rd. Atlanta, GA 30341.  We have been blessed that word got out about what we all love to do as Artist and Hobbyist and that the television network is just as interested and giving the love of miniatures the spotlight.
Make sure that you tune in to Good Day Atlanta on FOX TV this Monday morning at 8:20am to see what all is going on here at Miniature Designs and with the AMS show & sale, be sure to spread the word to all your friends & family and witness are five minutes of fame that we hope will last a lifetime in the wonderful world of Miniatures.

Will you & NJ be attending the show?  I sure wish we could be there!  (doctor appointments and "stuff" then).

NJ doesn't arrive until the following week. I'm not sure if I'll make the miniature show or not. Went with my sis and met sparklepuppies and West Paces there last year -- much fun.

Bev and Ken deserve all the publicity they can get.  When we visited the shop they were so super nice and we really enjoyed spending several hours with them  Ken gave hubby a complete tour of his workshop, not that hubby is into any kind of workshop but did enjoy the tour.  On a few occasions Bev has been so helpful in locating a particular mini for me that I had been unable to find after searching high and low.  Congrats Miniature Designs and thanks for being exceptional shop owners.

That is awesome!  Well done them!  I'm really hoping to get to some mini shops when we're over on holiday next year.  Hubby and I have spent many, many moons in the US - all over the place.  So we're bringing friends who have never been before and we're hoping to get to a few places we've never been.  Once I know where we're going I'll have to come on and ask what's around!!  Meantime, enjoy the visit Kathie!!!

Silly me recorded the two hour-long program segments separately. I watched the first interview, figured that was all there was, and erased the second segment without watching. Oh, well. They did make nice mention of the show in the bit I saw.

Awwww.... Boo. Maybe it will be posted somewhere, I'll start looking for it. I don't know how to grab my recording… I'm lucky I recorded it and then was able to watch it again. This was the first time ever I've recorded a show on DVR!

Here's the link to the news site with an article and one of the interviews. I'm just so proud for Bev.
