fov
I made the fridge today -- the contact paper is perfect! I love this stuff! More pics and details on my blog: http://www.emilymorganti.com/blog/?p=13891 I made this from an old kit for a standard "freezer on top" refrigerator, it had a line routed between the freezer and fridge door, and I flipped it over so the freezer's at the bottom. It's not finished, I still need to add handles, and I'm going to replace the tape I used to separate the two upper doors with something smaller. (I used Gallery Glass leading tape, since that's what I had, but I don't like how much it sticks up, it calls attention to the fact that it's on top of the doors when it's supposed to look like a gap between them. I ordered some thinner black tape from Amazon that I hope will look better.)

havanaholly
Too bad you didn't rout a channel between the upper doors before adding the contact material, to give the same separation as the freezer drawer. You definitely have the stainless look down pat! Well done.
Keifer
Very cool, the contact paper certainly has a nice look to it. What scale is this?
havanaholly
This is Emily, Keith, so probably 1:24.
fov
Thanks everyone! It's 1:24 scale. I don't have a steady enough hand to route a straight line in a piece of wood, I definitely would have ruined it!

steiconi
Has anybody tried using an aluminum can (soda or beer, or iced tea if you need a big piece) for this sort of thing? The inside might be the right color, it cuts with scissors and bends nicely.

My Miniature Madness
Thanks for the product info, Joel! I used to use this metal sheeting for my "stainless steel" cooktops and appliances, but since Covid, they are no where to be found: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KKV2MVE/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I'll give the BMF a try.
