Lita
I should have looked closer when I purchased this adorable trunk kit. At 1.5 inches high, it is nowhere near 1:12 scale, more like1:24 or 1:48. Is it crazy that I’m now considering buying a quarter scale dollhouse to go with this kit? I need to stop!
Debsrand56
That is an adorable trunk! Definitely not 1/12, though. Most steamer wardrobes are around 40-45 inches high, and this one would be 30 or 60, depending on whether you treat it as half or quarter scale. I'd want to showcase it, so not crazy at all for buying something to go with it. And quarter scale is small enough to fit nearly anywhere. StephanieC
I could definitely see how this hobby could become soooo addictive. It’s slways been a dream to build one. Started this week with the Garfield. The little trunk is adorable! Edited December 28, 2018 by StephanieC Misspelling

fov
It's a "doll trunk" -- meant for a 1:12 doll. (Not a 1:12 person, but a doll belonging to a 1:12 person.) Like this: https://www.amazon.com/Queens-Treasures-American-Accessories-Removable/dp/B009SAH1NM/ I think it could pass for a small 1:24 trunk. At 1:48 it would be 5' long, that seems a bit too big? But I loved the idea of a little "full-sized" trunk in 1:24 or 1:48 scale.
Pat
It would look great in the attic of the 1/24 scale Fairfield..I love that dollhouse.

Thank you, Emily, I would never have figured that out. More possibilities now!
