sur035481
Hi miniature/dollhouse enthusiasts! I found this website by accident, while trying to figure out what to do with the dollhouse my grandfather built for me. Thirty years ago, he lovingly built a dollhouse(that he never finished). He built it from a kit. He glued on every tiny cedar shingle, all of the siding, the windows, etc. My grandmother also bought a TON of dollhouse furniture/ miniatures to go with the house. It sat for three decades. Some of the furniture is still in its original packaging. Last year, I drove 1400 miles to pick it up. My grandfather is in the late stages of Parkinson's disease. He won't be able to finish it. I now have the partially finished dollhouse in my garage, and 5,000 pieces of furniture in my basement. I'd love to give it to somebody who will finish the house and enjoy the extras. Any suggestions for what I can do with the dollhouse? I'm in Cheyenne Wyoming. havanaholly
Welcome to the little family, Sara. Wouldn't you rather keep the house as a momento of your grandparents? Janet's suggestion is a good one.
Elsbeth
Craigslist it if you don't want to keep it.
