havanaholly
Thank you for sharing that, Carrie. I would have liked to have shared at least one interest in common with my mother.
Felthen
Thanks Carrie. I enjoyed watching this. I have seen some of their stuff and somehow I always assumed Delph Miniatures was a big company. What a great family business.
Elsbeth
I really enjoyed it. I thought they were a little dramatic showing the other vendors at the miniatures show and quoting her about "b#tchiness at shows" - but I enjoyed listening to the viewpoint of a miniaturist.
Shareb
Very clever ladies - and how lovely to be doing so much with your mum! My mum was a crafty lady while we were growing up. She used to take things to craft markets to sell. At around 10 I made an awning for a 'fruit box caravan' for my Sindy doll! Plus we made little dolls, and little characters out of found objects from nature. Unfortunately she has dementia now and couldn't do a lot with her arthritic hands. My eldest sister has just had major surgery on one hand and needs the other doing - I get pain in my fingers already and it worries me. But anyway - thank you for sharing Carrie!! Always nice to hear about people doing their stuff!
