havanaholly
I think it utterly cool that you found large enough pieces of the material to build your trailer. How perfect it that!
1martinimomma
Oh, my gosh does this bring back some family memories. My grandmother lived in one of these until she moved to assisted living. Hers was brown and white on the outside. The inside pictures are identical to hers. What a great project and can wait to follow along in your journey to finishing the trailer. Thanks for the memories!
Mrs. 2Bscale
Thank you Havanholly I wondered around Home depot for about an hour debating on what to construct this project from. The I found the sheets of this stuff (Used To Make Signs). And it even has a corrugated look to it already...Bonus. It measure 12"x46" so far. Thanks for following along
Mrs. 2Bscale
My grandmother also lived in one. We traded properties to get her closer to family in her later years ..So eventually I as a Bachler, moved in it and had many a great year their too. Many a fond memory off playing on the spotless clean floors, with whirl buttons and such she made me. Thanks for the share and following along my silly lil build. Very appreciated. I used E6000 on the white plastic version of the Orchid kit; I wish that Gorilla super glue had been around to try. I figured scrapbook paper for the wallpaper. I've used wallpaper for flooring.

rodentraiser
I've lived in so many old trailers I've developed a perverse love for them now. I've always wanted to make an old trailer, complete with the louvered windows and paneling. So I'll really be watching your project and enjoying every minute.
Debsrand56
What a great project! I don't think it's silly at all. Love the way it's turning out so far (and some of the pictures are very funny). Looking forward to seeing more.
havanaholly
Ron, I hope you'll make albums for your builds in the gallery here, because there's a limit to how many photos you can post directly into your posts, and no limit to how many go into the gallery.
