havanaholly
What a great way to keep your hands busy and away from the c-i-g----
heidiiiii
I am so disgusted with the way the beehive oven is turning out. Part of me wants to just chuck it in the trash. But the other part of me wants to try and save it. I guess I can spend the weekend changing it and re-arranging it. Grrrr! Dont you hate when your vision doesnt come to fruition? I posted pics of the disaster in my blog.
Peggi
Heidi, I don't see a disaster. What part is disgusting you so much?
heidiiiii
I think it is what i wanted it to look like and the way it turned out. Just me being nitpicky. I am going to work on the front and inside some more tomorrow. I also have to get a wood scrap piece to fit for a door to the front of the top. I like the back but the front just bothers me. LOL You know how it is when you have a way you want it to look and it doesnt come out quite right..
heidiiiii
My poor lil E. Row. She is yelling at me. She says she doesnt like the cardboard bricks I slaved over to cover her with. She says she wants siding now and if she doesnt get it she will throw a tantrum! I have to get moving on her. The bellingham awaits with bated breathe
chattycathy66
Too bad she didn't tell you that before you went to all that work, lol. Oh well, her happiness is what matters, right? Besides, you don't get much rest until they are happy, either. The Tipton (my BH ) will sometimes let me "try" things out before she decides it's definatley not for her...but once she knows it's not what she likes, there's no quieting her! lol
heidiiiii
Yeah right...LOL I see a LONNNGGG weekend of picking off glued on, spackled on, painted on cardboard bricks.. Yuck. Not now. Not in any state of mind to do that right now. LOL She will have to be satisfied the way she is for now.
Ms. Mini
hey heidi  hows ur E.R. coming along ? im afraid RL has distracted me again from my beloved mini hobby. heidiiiii
I am still working on the kitchen area in the basement (blogged). I am getting disappointed in how the house is turning out. It looks so amateurish...to me. She is being a beast..I think that is what it is. I havent been doing this hobby for very long (1yr and a half) but I have never ever ever felt this way about a house before. Every time I do something, I step back and go YUCK! I can bet my last dollar that I am not the only one out there that has felt this way about a house. But I want to finish her and the Kozbro so i can justify to myself the starting of the Bellingham..LOL
Anna
...I step back and go YUCK! I can bet my last dollar that I am not the only one out there that has felt this way about a house. Heck no, did I mention that my Chantilly and I didn't actually talk for a couple of years???? We are sill quietly debating things and planning/mapping out the question marks but "Her Highness" is demanding the full attnetion so Mz Chantilly is waiting like a well brought up lady... Hugs and looking forward to seeing what you finally agree upon with your ER
KathieB
Heidi, you have a lot on your mind right now. Maybe ER is sensing that and is being uncooperative because she wants to be the center of your universe.
Ms. Mini
Heidi I can totally relate to you about your feelings towards your ER. I felt the same way about my willowcrest for the longest time. And finally after about 6 months we worked through it together lol. hang in there, i love how your ER is coming along!
havanaholly
I can bet my last dollar that I am not the only one out there that has felt this way about a house. There comes a point with each & every house that I build when I wonder what in the h*** I was on to think I could do this! heidiiiii
Jen, No no no. My E. Row is in solitary confinement until she can agree to my demands and cooperate. It was frustrating me too much. I wasnt enjoying it and everything i did was disappointing. So she is upstairs on my bedroom dresser for now. I am currently working on my Marquam Hill Mansion. You can see pics in my gallery. I cant wait to see what you do with both the E. Row and the tenny.
