Joscail
I got given the DIANA cottage dollhouse years ago as a gift & have never assembled it (it hasn't even been out of the box). I was wondering if anyone could tell me how much dollhouses like The DIANA are selling at today.
havanaholly
Joscail, Welcome to the forum. I remember a thread a few years ago on Small Stuff Digest on dolls' house appraisers, you might go to http://www.smallstuff-digest.com and check the "archives" to see if the thread is still there, and you may be able to find the info you're looking for. Good luck, I'm not familiar with the Diana.

Joscail
I have two cats & a HSC to complete, even if I did find time to build it between school study the cats would demolish it anyway. Thanx for the link I will check that out.

havanaholly
Now I remember which one it was! I always liked the front of the porch, so unusual.
nuttiwebgal
yes the trim on the porch is exactly why I like this house. it is sooo delicate and ornate...something I seem to really like. very nice house. Nutti <_<
KarinL
I've got a half-finished Diana that I just put back on the proper shelf. I now have all my houses back on the shelf units, and there wasn't much damage, fortunately. The porch of the Diana is a bit chipped, nothing that a bit of filler and paint won't fix. BTW, Joscail, I have seven cats and a Glencroft, Emmerson Row, Brimble's and assorted unopened kits to finish... I am really hoping for the Victorianna to come back. Actually, I want to see *all* the houses back. :( (I'm probably crazy enough to build 'em all, too... LOL!!!) Here's mine, with extra extensions: It's actually more lavender, not as bright as it looks. The trim is now off-white and I am planning on adding 'stained glass' windows. LPCullen
Now why in the world does that make me think "Arthur and Buttercup bashed together"?
Lyn
Now why in the world does that make me think "Arthur and Buttercup bashed together"? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I agree with that completly  Lyn
MiniMadWoman
I love the porch detail on this house. Hmm . . . one I'll have to think about! Karin, what happened to your houses?
Minis On The Edge
I think it's the trim and the fact that it's four rooms that make you think of the combo  This Diana is a little larger than the Arthur though. The trim looks like a butter cup
