  1. The Haunted Heritage

I grew up in an old white farmhouse that probably looked pretty creepy to others, but I loved it. It was way too cold in the winter, too hot in the summer and had generally outdated decor and musty upstairs rooms. But, it was my first home and even though it no longer stands, I love it still.

I bought a Dura-Craft Heritage kit sometime ago when I found a good deal on a kit in near perfect condition. I find it interesting that the few pieces broken in the Heritage kit I can replace with pieces I already have from the lost Dura-Craft kit I had a long time ago. Perhaps meant to be...

I have no idea where this project will end up, and I rather like that open energy. I see in my head an old white farmhouse...not completely dilapidated but in a state that might make you pause to enter...but with a warm albeit old and perhaps historically creepy interior.

  2. 1/6 scale house design

Working on a 1/6 scale stacking design, with the elements I love from Salisbury house in Des Moines IA, Coheeries Mansion from A Winters Tale movie, Reign series Castle interiors, Skyfall home with the construction principals from my JP Morgan 1/6 scale dollhouse and other dollhouses. I will build the windows my self, since they will be various and large, the largest windows 20in x 15in [some bump out style ] My husband made me promise no construction will begin until my design layout on all floors is complete. Its an ambitious project yet in my mind I am coming up with a simplified method that will be very workable

  3. WyckedWood Beacon Hill~The Sea Hag~

~The Sea Hag~ This house has evolved and changed so much since I first built it,it was originaly dark, brooding and empty and then it slowly became light and charming.I thought I would never decorate it and now it seems to take the contents of every other house I own for its own...very demanding and rewarding;-)

  13. Dura Craft Tudor by WyckedWood

Dura Craft Tudor kit. I altered this kit somewhat but not drastically. During the build which I've worked on and off for several years, I discovered doll making and this turned into Gerties Cottage.  The season is Spring

  15. Chefalas Delight

My dollhouse is a typical Edwaridian London House. The facade is Georgian. It belongs to a pious noble spinster the Honorable Lady Violette. You can also see her maid (Mary) and her visitors Miss Phoibe and Rev. Theodore.

This is a build using the laserdollhousedesigns kit the Jasmine Cottage in 1:12.

  23. Dura-craft VM600 Refurbish, Remodel

My sister-in-law purchased this dollhouse over 15 years ago at a garage sale. It was mostly constructed and included almost all of the original pieces to complete it. She just never had the time to work on it. She asked me if I would like to finish it as a gift for her grand daughter for Christmas 2014. Sight unseen, I answered in a heartbeat! This is my first dollhouse, but something tells me it's not my last.

  25. My First Dollhouse - Beacon Hill

Going for the "French Country/ shabby" feel. I know nothing about the actual Beacon Hill's "history", I just like the house and I like the older "loved" style :D No rules, right?!
