Lighting above Bay Window
I decided to place my Miniland battery operated light above the bay window. I had taped the magnet underneath the 2nd floor window sill and attached light to taped magnet to make sure I had light placed at the correct area. I then dipped a wood skewer in a small amount of contact cement, peeled a little bit of masking tape back to expose magnet, applied glue and put the masking tape back that is holding the magnet in place. I let this dry for a few days. I plan on adding lights above all of my bay windows. I added this light after the house was assembled and windows were finished. I put a sheet of copy paper on the floor and covered the window so I didn’t get glue anywhere else.

Harrison Dollhouse--Porch
I surely need more Halloween decor for my front porch! I used the cardboard egg cartons to make my "stone" porch. I added the Miniland battery operated light above door to give more light to porch and to accent the stone. All of the items that I hang on my dollhouse walls, inside and out, have a thin magnet glued to the walls. I then attached a small strip of a magnetic sheet to the back of pictures and shelves that are inside dollhouse. I can change the decor easily this way.

Half-scale RGT Colonial (first house!)
Hello everyone, I'm starting with familiar territory. My mom bought me a full scale (1:12) RGT Vermont Farmhouse when I was little and we never quite finished it, so I am picking up this hobby "where I left off," so to speak, but at a scale that I'm more familiar with now that I've done some room minis.
Holly mentioned that it's common for room minis to be slightly smaller than 1:24, which I've found to be basically true, but they are a very affordable way to furnish a small house! I am going to stick with my original plan of making a 3/2 for a family of four with this little house, with a total budget of around $250.

The Hartville Heritage
I found this Dura-Craft Heritage kit at Hartville Thrift Shoppe in Hartville, OH. I can't recommend the store enough! Anyway, it's missing pieces - definitely a case of someone starting the project strong and then Something happening that prevented any further process, and any reunification of the lost pieces with the remaining. So, it'll take some fabrication and ingenuity to make it come together. Advice is welcome! Onwards! *Note: I tried to order this numerically and the gallery Did Not Let Me, so apologies that it's all backwards!

The OG Orchid
This is the Orchid I've been working on with a friend. It's the first one I ever built, but it was long enough ago I don't have any "before" pictures from the early-early days. So this is a good place to start!

Street of Shops
A very generous member of my miniatures group gave me all three of the Houseworks "Street of Shops" kits, which I am slowly but happily putting together.

Beacon Hill Rehab
I was given this Beacon Hill kit with a build started with hot glue. Watch my progress in dismantling and rebuilding this classic kit.
As of July, I have dismantled the original
build, scraped all the hot glue, primed and painted main pieces, and started assembly.

Joseph Angel Dollhouse
So excited to share my journey with the Joseph Angel dollhouse that I recently acquired from a fellow forum member (thank you Annie!). I've been a long time lover of dollhouses/miniatures and having a Joseph Angel is a dream come true for me. This will be my first attempt at completing a dollhouse, so be patient with me!

New Orleans Shotgun Houses
I purchased two of these 4 inch deep house fronts with an idea of turning them into Shotgun houses. Each will have a different front porch area, but will reflect the homes of New Orleans.
