Stairway for the McKinley (Turned Kit)
I decided a while back to do my own built-in for the Staircase in the McKinley. I recently formalized the design and made a kit. I will be doing the same for my built-in kitchen cabinetry in the McKinley as well as the Beacon Hill. I hope to design more 'after-market" built-ins that economize the footprint of each room of a variety of dollhouses. But I started with my already-made stairway that includes step storage, an elegant fireplace, and a china cabinet.

Penelope Renovation (KidKraft)
I saw this well loved dollhouse on the side of the road; it was waiting for the garbage truck. It looked like good bones, so I picked it up. I decided to challenge myself to create a whole new look using the materials I have on hand to renovate this house. The only things I might have to buy are basics like white primer and glues. I think I'm going to get a long string of fairy lights to electrify (another purchase), and I might need more siding. Okay, so already I'm buying stuff. So maybe if I just keep costs to a minimum....

Street of Shops
A very generous member of my miniatures group gave me all three of the Houseworks "Street of Shops" kits, which I am slowly but happily putting together.
More photos and details can be found here -- https://mathomhouse.typepad.com/bluestocking/miniatures-street-of-shops/

1/6 scale Guilded Age ILLUSION room box
Had LINEN cabinet using as curio. Kept thinking it would make a great room box by TURNING the cabinet on its SIDE. Since the cabinet is holding the TV, minimum 1" square dowels were placed in cabinet to support weight. Top shelf was stationary and has dowels glued so now unable to remove it. Plan will work with that 1st left area being an entrance/stairwell. Took out all shelves to the right and that will be a large narrow room. Since windows and doors do not open to outside diorama, scenes will be put in doors and window areas for realism. Hope you will FOLLOW progress on this about 1880-1890 1/6 scale scratch build items Guilded Age project.

See's Candy shop
I'd liked the Storybook cottage kit for a while and once the idea hit me to make it into a See's candy shop I couldn't wait to get started (for those of you who haven't been to one See's is a California based Chocolate shop that's been making delicious chocolates since 1921)except for the flooring everything in the shop was handmade by me over the last 3 months.

Barbie Dolls
For some reason people keep giving me trashed Barbie dolls and other types of dolls they run across while dumpster diving or randomly finding them.
They are always dirty, naked and with horribly abused hair. I'm not into dolls at all....but I do love restoring beat up things so I've added this to my list of hobbies. I have about 50 dolls so far, so I'm just getting started.....

McKinley Dollhouse
Building the Greenleaf McKinley Dollhouse with just a few modifications. My thanks for those who have shared their building of this kit. I have learned a lot from their pictures and blogs. A special thankyou to Gina who is currently blogging her build of the McKinley on her Facebook page, More Minis Dollhouses.
Husband, again, will be doing the wiring. The false walls of this build will help hide the electrical wiring and terminal block.

Joseph Angel Dollhouse
So excited to share my journey with the Joseph Angel dollhouse that I recently acquired from a fellow forum member (thank you Annie!). I've been a long time lover of dollhouses/miniatures and having a Joseph Angel is a dream come true for me. This will be my first attempt at completing a dollhouse, so be patient with me!

Mystery Victorian
This 1:12 dollhouse was for sale at Peg's Dollhouses in the summer of 2014. She thought it was built by Jim Marcus, but I sent him the photos and he said it's not one of his. One telltale sign is that the carving was done with routers, not by hand. I never found out who built the house, but I held on to the pictures.

The OG Orchid
This is the Orchid I've been working on with a friend. It's the first one I ever built, but it was long enough ago I don't have any "before" pictures from the early-early days. So this is a good place to start!

The Hartville Heritage
I found this Dura-Craft Heritage kit at Hartville Thrift Shoppe in Hartville, OH. I can't recommend the store enough! Anyway, it's missing pieces - definitely a case of someone starting the project strong and then Something happening that prevented any further process, and any reunification of the lost pieces with the remaining. So, it'll take some fabrication and ingenuity to make it come together. Advice is welcome! Onwards! *Note: I tried to order this numerically and the gallery Did Not Let Me, so apologies that it's all backwards!

The Doll People Doll house kit
I have found it hard to find larger pics of this kit, but I managed to find something that works - you can see some nice details. I love the stairs the hall library. And the tall ceilings.

A Stoned Egg Carton
I’m a huge fan of stonework, and I’ve been itching to try the stones-made-from-egg-cartons technique. Decided to give it a go this weekend, and I had big fun! First, I needed something (smallish) to apply the stonework to, so I pillaged the appropriate components from the unopened Alpine kit, and whipped up a fireplace.
